"Ten months ago I had a rotator cuff tear and came to St Hermina Physical Therapy hoping to avoid surgery. Dr. Samer Dawood listened carefully, examined my medical records and myself and we started to work. After 2-3 weeks of treatment, the doctor clearly explained to me that physical therapy only will not work in my case and suggested that I should undergo shoulder surgery. At that time I absolutely trusted the doctor's knowledge and his expertise, and followed his advice. Week after surgery I returned to the office and doctor Samer patiently, kindly and with personal concern started physical therapy. It was painful, he made me do things that I didn't want to do because it hurt. However, the doctor insisted and bit by bit I regained almost full use of my arm. It took months but movement in my arm is almost restored, pain almost disappeared, strength increased and now I'm able to perform daily activity and hobbies. It was all possible due to the Doctor's Samer knowledge, patience, kindness and daily support. Many thanks to other staff members, especially Paulina, who helped me to recover.
