"I first went to Jo's physical therapy center in September 2023. Prior to that, over the years I had PT on 5 occasions for different conditions, and in only 2 cases was my condition either eliminated or improved. In one case, my condition actually worsened! So, I was somewhat skeptical of PT. But I needed knee replacement and my surgeon encouraged me to strengthen my leg prior to the surgery in order to make the recovery process easier. I chose Jo's place strictly because it was a few blocks away from my home. As it turns out, it was a very fortunate choice. Jo did a great job both in getting me ready for surgery and also in the post-surgery recovery time. I now have absolutely no problem with that knee. I have since gone to Jo for two other conditions, and again both resulted in a happy outcome. He does a great job in customizing a program to your specific needs. No "off the shelf" routines here! He also keeps the sessions fresh by constantly introducing new movements. I would not say that the sessions are easy, but they are very productive and that is what I was interested in. Jo is also great at offering advice on other medical conditions. Non-medical situations too, like car buying! All in all, it's a pleasant experience. If you attend his PT center, expect lots of laughs."
