"I recently had arthroscopic knee surgery on my left knee performed by Dr. Robert Masella. He did the same procedure on my right knee 4 years ago with excellent results. My surgery was at the Team MD surgical facility in Woodland Park, NJ. I am 5 days post surgery and I have just a little stiffness and soreness. I took Tramadol for 3 days and I don't need ANY pain relief. He does excellent work-I'm very pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Masella! "

"I just have to say this office was amazing from the time I called to make the appointment. I had fell the night before and injured my ankle. When I called I spoke to Carmen, she had stated they were booked but she would check with the doctor to see if she can get me in and she did. Upon arrival everyone was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. The X-ray technician then took me in and he really put me at ease since I was so nervous. Then I saw Dr. Masella and he explained everything and answered all my questions. It was a very pleasant doctors appointment. I would definitely highly recommend this place."

"He is a professional who knows what he is doing. He performed surgery on my son who had a dislocated shoulder, explained to us what were the pros and cons of either with or without surgery in a way we understood. He took his time answering all our questions and never rushed us during our office visits. I got the sense that he really does love his profession and is really doing it to help his patients not like some other doctors that I know who are only concerned about the volume of patients and that's it. Quality of care is excellent , speaking as a critical care nurse/management. His office employees were polite and caring just like Dr. Masella. My son is back to his physical activities without complications i.e infection or pain etc...I totally recommend him for any mothers looking for an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He is in the same group as Dr. Cox who is also a great doctor hands down. I am glad I found him for my son. Thank you doc!"
