"Dr. Hashim is the best pain management doctor I know! After 7 back surgeries and a total hip, I will never see anyone else! If you require special injections, Dr.Hashim has the best hands I know. I'm a R.N., and have seen many injections but none as good as Doctor. If you do not like following the current requirements by law for prescription medication for pain don't choose Dr. Hashim! She follows the law, you will feel safe, my pharmacist states it's always right. Just remember when you're a chronic pain patient you want a doctor who follows the rules and keeps you safe! I've been her patient over 15 years!"

"I waited several months after leaving this practice to think about my experience and write a review. I would highly not recommend this practice or doctor. First and foremost, the cost. I was self pay and she charged me double what I am paying at a much bigger practice. I am also self pay there. She also always presumed I didn't have the out of pocket cost to pay for injections. Maybe at her inflated costs, no I wouldn't have. But I did at my new place, Gateway Spine. It was still expensive and she shouldn't make assumptions. Nor should she be over charging for sub par care. I keep getting bills that randomly get bigger and bigger for the same dates or service. I will not be paying. Being I was self pay, there should never be a bill. Then there was the care. It was horrible. She has zero bed side manner and she actually speaks down to you. It all felt very narcissistic which is the last quality you want in a doctor! She has no trust between her patients. Requires you to bring in old prescriptions counts every pill. She might say this is required or standard but I highly doubt Gateway Spine and all my other pain doctors aren't following the law and standards when it comes to prescribing pain medications. I'm not required to do that anywhere else it's her own thing. My first appointment was THREE long agonizing hours and she is ALWAYS running behind and all follow ups were super long. I get it there was a lot to review and, I've never had that lengthy of an appointment with any other pain doctor, so it is indeed possible to use appointment time for efficiently. She would literally scold me like a child. She has one great staff member Iliana and she treated her how she treated her patients, horrible. I'm hoping by the time I am writing this she has moved on to something else, I know she was working towards other things. I'd also like to thank her for her support, kindness, and she was able to give me direction that the doctor could not. Communication was difficult and she was extremely invalidating. She wasn't willing to adequately help with my pain. I was in a rough spot after a cross country move. I'm feeling so much better now. And I came to find at my new practice that along with my back pain I had a very sick gallbladder that needed removal. The organ was actually dead. So yes, I was experiencing immense amounts of back pain. She chose to not believe me. It's hard enough being a pain patient. The stigma is real. So if you are a pain patient looking for a new doctor? I highly recommend you going elsewhere. Her own staff told me she was "crazy" and not providing appropriate care and for my own safety? To go elsewhere. That says A LOT."

"I've been seeing Dr. Hashim for several years and I've been very happy with my care. I've had chronic pain and other health issues that makes my pain hard to control sometimes. Dr. Hashim always listens to me, and with her help we've found ways to control my pain with minimal medication. She's strict and expects patients to follow her rules, but with all the abuse in the news I don't blame her. I've been very happy with my care and will continue to see Dr. Hashim in the future."

"I am no longer in neck pain thanks to Dr. Hashim. I have faith she will fix my lower back pain too. Even when something doesn't work, she never gives up and keeps trying for a fix. She keeps things very simple and to the point so that you can receive the best care possible as soon as possible. She works in a certain way in order to get you out of pain quickly by sticking to the facts. She suggests what she thinks should be done, schedules it as soon as possible, and even confirms it with the insurance all at once. If it doesn't work because injections are 50/50, she tries another approach. Coming from a girl who contemplated her life due to her chronic pain; I appreciate her so much and know how much she cares."

"Dr. Hashim has been my doctor for over a year. She is very caring and really listens to you. She really thinks about what problems you are having and will try everything possible to help you with your pain. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that has been dealing with chronic pain. There is no other doctor I would want to handle my care. Her office staff is also very friendly and love the changes they have made to the office."

"Dr. Hashim is a caring and supportive doctor. She's mindful and is knowledgeable of important regulations regarding prescription drugs. Though some patients might be less understanding in the importance of keeping track of prescription drugs, it doesn't bother me. I consider the counting of meds prescribed by Dr. Hashim invaluable. This keeps me safe from potential harm from them. Drug screening through random urine tests is a key in keeping transparency and honesty as a patient. All that she does keeps us from causing harm to ourselves, or anyone else."

"I recently moved from another state and chose Dr. Hashim because her office was close to my house. She is by far the worst doctor I have ever met, and she is very unethical such that I filed a report with the state, only to retract because the process is cumbersome and public. 1.) She took 3.5 hours during my first appointment; 2.) She immediately said I needed steroid injections in my back when I told her that I have had them for years and they don't work, and I already head 3 in the past 6 months (the limit is 2-3 per year). 3.) Post twighlight sedation for the injection, she is the only doctor that did not come out to see her patient (me) to check on me. 4.) After her injection did not work and I came back for an appointment, she sent her assistant in to ask me if I wanted another surgical injection, and when I said no, stormed into the room and exploded with anger. 5.) After I forgot the empty bottle of my medication which I absolutely need for pain due to a degenerative spine, two herniated discs and swelling from a recent spinal fusion, she refused to prescribe me medicine. When I asked if I could go home and get the bottle because I lived 3 minutes away, she said no and said she isn't going to prescribe me medicine unless I agreed to another surgical procedure. 6.) When I tried to explain my level of pain, she refused to listen and stormed out of the room; 7.) She kept the door open to my patient room during my exam and spoke so loud that everyone could hear my personal story and the lobby just starred at me when I left. 8. Her staff warned me, "she is crazy" and said, "don't listen to her." I wrote this review to warn everyone about my horrible experience and her unethical and un-compassionate practice."

"Dr Hashim is one of the most caring doctors that I've had in a long time. She listened to all of my problems and asked good questions. I highly recommend her for any pain issues because she goes above and beyond."
