"If you need a nursing home or rehab facility to come to you definitely want to check this place out. Very nice and very clean. Very close to the beach very good staff and people. Everyone is friendly and the food is delicious. Everything is always taken care of. Food is brought to your bed and fast service laundry folded and ready for you the next day. Comfortable beds and tv in room and day room. Activities daily."
"If I could go lower then one star I most definitely would. When I tell you this place was like hell I mean it. Never in my life have I seen both Men and Women on the same phone, the place was dirty and it smelt like God knows what. I would not recommend no one going here at alll."
"This facility is absolutely unacceptable. The staff is unprofessional and clearly dislikes their jobs, as evidenced by their rude phone demeanor. If they are that unhappy, perhaps they should consider leaving. I've had to inquire repeatedly about my patients, and each time, it seems to be an imposition for the nurses. They refuse to assist heavier clients, citing convenience as an issue. Instead of attending to their responsibilities, they prefer standing around gossiping. I witnessed one of the social services staff walking on a treadmill and refusing to even acknowledge me, let alone introduce herself. I've experienced poor facilities before, but this is, without a doubt, the worst I've encountered. It's long overdue for someone to step in and address the disarray of this place."
"When I came here the first I was talking to my Jesus and he told me it's sufficient for you. And then Admin Rachel she told me if I can be a veteran you can do the program. Some of the staff was good bad the ugly but it comes with the territory. I'm not leaving till I finish my program Admin the nurses the food service the security guards thank you you help me help myself . When I first came here I met and Rachel, warm considerate thoughtful helpful . Thank you Rachel!"
"Having a wonderful experience at Lakefront Nursing Home. The Alexian Brothers brought me here and was a wise choice. I picked a good nursing home. I haven't been cared this well since I left my parents home. I have cold water 24hours a day. I never wait more than 5 minutes on a call light with a CNA. When it comes to being diapered it takes special people to preform the act of humanity and cared for in a professional manner. Food is fair; could be better. Appreciate the TV. I'm pretty happy here."
"Terrible...some of the workers are great (Miss Diane, Miss Betty, Miss Arraselli, Maria, D, Rachel, and a few others)but if you want to leave on any kind of overnight pass, they will not give you your medication, trapping a grown adult in a situation where you have to cancel your plans because you don't have your medication. It is a hopeless trapped feeling that nobody recovering in any way shape or form should have to endure. I have now missed a father's day gathering and an opportunity to go out on a 2 day job to make money because I am tied to and need my medication...it's a joke and I'm just trying to find someplace to go so i don't have to be in this environment any longer...I can't believe they are allowed to do this to their residents...if you like to be trapped and discriminated and imprisoned, because you take medications that you need then this is the place for you...they never give you what you order food wise, some of the nurses are downright disrespectful, and they treat you like you are a kindergartner...I brought a dumbbell with me here that I'm not even allowed to use in the gym to get healthy...they won't let you have your own vitamins to get healthy with...curfew is 8pm...yes 8pm as a grown adult...they run out of your medicine and don't have the refill ready too often leaving you without your meds for a few days...you do not have control of your meds...their human resources is a joke, they don't do much to help you further yourself...so basically you are just stuck in this place where barely anyone pays attention to you and most are waiting just to get housed...there is a 30 day restriction to leave when you enter as well so be aware...typically I'm not the type of person to write reviews but when you feel the way I do living here I feel like it's the only way to get across all the negatives about this case...need to fix cable too cuz it's constantly statically...I'm sorry to put the negative out there but I'm just being real and honest about my experience...like I said there are some very good employees there but it's not enough to save you from how bad this place is...my frustration has gone way over board"
"The place is literally a building full of staff that continues to go back wards on things concerning safety, and well being. Violating rights itd more like a prison with nothing to do except to wander around aimlessly. They need people that care for the residents instead of hiding in the office and doing nothing. Someone who can try to genuinely care about what is going on to rxcel for there rehabilitation."
