"Get a second opinion!!! To them, you are just another $. Left his practice in worse pain than I arrived. Destabilized my fractured leg and left me in excruciating pain. absolved themselves of all blame and the doctor never called me back to explain. Wouldn't speak to me or see me again because he's "too busy". This Dr. and his practice could not of made my experience any worse. I visited him for an initial review of a broken ankle. He and his team removed my cast that I was stabilized in and put me into an air cast that was too big, which caused my bones to shift, creating the worst pain possible. I tried calling his practice many times and never got a call back from him. His nurse called me back eventually and told me if I wanted to restabilize my leg and put me back in a proper cast I would have to go back to the E.R. I eventually saw a different Doctor who told me that he should have never removed me from my original cast and that he could perform the surgery 5 days earlier than what Dr. Levine had scheduled. Ill spare the rest of the details but if you want better patient care, a Dr. who treats his patience like people instead of a dollar sign, this is not your guy. He and his staff still charged me and my insurance for the cast and visit. 5 thumbs down!"
"I went to Dr. Levine after two different doctors didn't agree on a treatment plan for my ankle. He examined me, was very thorough and honest, and sent me for an ultrasound guided injection to determine if the source of my pain was what he thought. I appreciated this approach rather than jumping directly to surgery. He also evaluated the MRI and suspected a different issue than the radiologist found. On the day of surgery, Dr Levine was very confident and reassuring. He gave detailed instructions and it turns out he was right - I had an extra unnecessary tendon in my ankle. The other doctors didn't see that. He removed it and I'm on the road to recovery. Highly recommend Dr. Levine."
"Dr. Levine and his team, particularly Physician Assistant Samantha Scarfogliero, are incredible. I had surgery 6 months ago on my foot and calf to treat chronic plantar fasciitis. This tiny spot of intense heel pain was starting to really negatively impact my quality of life, and they both really heard and understood my concerns. Dr. Levine has a very warm, friendly, and funny personality which really helps put one at ease when contemplating the seriousness of surgery, and at the same time both he and Samantha are very knowledgeable, patient, reassuring, and open to all questions. Bedside manner goes a really long way, but most importantly the surgery went so smoothly. The healing process also went very well and Samantha was quick to respond to any messages I sent through the HSS portal. 6 months later I feel leaps and bounds better than I did before surgery and I'm so grateful."
