"Mimi truly changed my life. I was struggling with a debilitating pain condition that made everyday activities unbearable. I couldn't stand, move, sit, or even enjoy intimate moments with my partner without being in agony. I had seen multiple doctors with no relief, and I was beginning to lose hope. Then I was referred to physical therapy with Mimi. From the start, she was thorough, compassionate, and LGBT+ friendly, taking the time to ask detailed questions about my condition. She helped me understand that much of my pain stemmed from a tight pelvic floor, and gave me tools to manage it. Thanks to her guidance, my daily flare-ups (where I would sometimes have to leave class and cry in my car) have been reduced to only 1-2 times a month, and I now know how to handle them when they happen. Mimi was always there in moments when my pain felt overwhelming, supporting me and showing me that relief was possible. She tailors therapy to your lifestyle and works with you every step of the way. If you put in the work, the results can be life-changing. I honestly wouldn't be where I am today without her."

"I've been on a pelvic floor PT journey on-and-off since the early 2010s, and have seen a variety of folks for care over the years. Hands down Mimi has been the BEST I've seen for some challenging issues that were holding us back from starting our family. Mimi's caring and empathetic approach allowed me to feel safe, welcomed, and accepted and she found solutions to every hurdle. I am not the most patient patient but her approach of slow, consistent progress and celebrating wins ultimately proved to be effective and within 6 months we had mostly resolved health issues I'd been dealing with for 15+ years. Even after moving across the country, she has been a valuable resource to set up care in a new location and provided ongoing exercises to continue to take care of my health. And I'm proud to say after a long journey, we are finally expecting our first child at the beginning of next year. I can't express how grateful I am to have gotten to work with Mimi, we are able to start our family because of her :)"

"Mimi is very passionate and did help me at some level. However, there were several frustrating aspects of my experience. First, she canceled last minute fairly frequently. I definitely understand if you get a migraine unexpectedly, but canceling in under an hour before my appointment time when you've told me your migraine has been around for hours and I'm already on the way is very frustrating, and this type of thing happened often. She would also frequently forget to send me the exercise instructions like she said she would and forget which exercises she had prescribed to me in the first place, which put the burden on me to remember everything from our sessions very carefully and email her with multiple reminders. (Maybe not a big deal to someone else, but because I was struggling with brain fog and dealing with multiple other doctor's appointments at the time, this really negatively affected me.) Finally, towards the end of my time with her, she said that she would analyze something for me, but literally a month passed with multiple reminders from me and I STILL hadn't received the analysis. When I finally asked a bit more pointedly (though still trying to be nice) if she could please send this to me ASAP because I really needed it to move forward, she gave me a one-sentence summary (unlike the thorough analysis she had given me before) and said I should see a different PT who specialized in that topic...but that was part of the issue she had assured me she specialized in when I inquired about her studio in the first place! Maybe she truly wasn't able to help me any further or maybe she was irritated with me (I hope not!) -- but please don't tell me you're going to do something and then not do it, or present your specialty as broader than what it truly is."

"Mimi Goldberg is a truly phenomenal physical therapist! I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and have multiple joint issues from that. I came to see her originally for my SI joint dysfunction which caused pain in my low back and pelvis with sitting and walking. I had been in severe pain for 4 years -- and had been getting worse, not better. Mimi was able to figure it out and developed an action plan that actually fixed my problem. I thought I was going to be living like that for the rest of my life. And now I am even able to work out now and exercise without pain. I call her my miracle worker! I actual tear up thinking about it. She was able to help me when so many others had not been able to. She has an incredible ability to think outside the box and great skills. Since then she has helped with various other joint issues that emerge from my hEDS -- an ankle issue I had and now a shoulder issue. I find her to be so incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. I have recommended multiple people to see her. I know the secret is out about how fantastic she is and she can be booked out now, so it can be hard to get in right away-- but trust me if you have to be on a waitlist, she is well worth the wait! One of the best physical therapists out there."

"Mimi is one of those rare people who is truly excited to work with you every day. Her passion for her work is contagious and leads to incredible results. I've gone to her for dry needling and PT work for my neck and my TMJ and have had a great experience. I'd recommend Mimi to anybody."

"Restorative Physical Therapy is the best. Your appointments are customized to what you feel you need to work on/what is bothering you. And - your PT is just a nice person and fun to hang out with for an hour. 5/5 stars but if I could give more stars I would!"
