Nurses often struggle to find my veins, but she got it on the first try both visits--effortlessly. Her skill, professionalism, and calming presence made the entire experience so comfortable. The facility is very clean, well-organized, and convenient, and I was in and out in under an hour both times--leaving feeling like a new woman. The chairs are comfortable, the process is efficient, and the overall vibe is relaxing. "I now understand why African-American women are dying while under the care of health care "professionals." I went to Vydration when I had a Vitamin D deficiency. Everything with the first package went well except one nurse, who I rarely saw, would leave a lump after the injection. I thought this was normal. My butt started turning black and blue. The bruising wasn't going away. Again, I thought it was normal. Fast forward...I purchased another package. I see the nurse that does the shot without leaving a lump and things go well. Let's call her the "good nurse." I see the other nurse again and once again she leaves a lump. Let's call her the "painful nurse." Once again I get the black and blue bruising and a lump. The next time I see the good nurse I ask tell her about my lump and the black and blue marks. She tells me that isn't supposed to happen. I go back the following week and the painful nurse is there. Once again after her shot I'm left in a lot of pain but this time I call the establishment and ask to speak with the doctor. The doctor never called me but someone sent me a text message. They never stated who they were but they sent me instructions for mild swelling or tenderness. I then text them back stating that I was in a lot of pain. No one ever asked my symptoms. No one ever asked for pictures. As far as I know the doctor never responded. Then I finally was able to speak to the office manager. She was extremely rude. She never asked what my symptoms where or if was ok. Instead of listening to my complaint she banned me from both Vydration locations because I said the nurse was a bad nurse. Her only concern was the fact that I said the nurse wasn't good at her job. She claimed she banned me for being rude to the nurses I never spoke to the nurse who hurt me. I spoke to the good nurse and she is always kind. I purposely asked to speak to the doctor because I wanted his take on the situation. So I'm not sure who she thinks I was rude to but it definitely wasn't to either of the nurses. Both nurses were always kind. But I can tell you my condition was never a concern for anyone at these facilities. I felt because I a an African-American woman my concerns were ignoted. I'm not sure if the doctor was aware of this treatment but after reading this review I hope to speak with the doctor directly. If that happens I will gladly update this review. I think it is important for healthcare professionals to know when there is a repeated case of pain or bruising. Especially when the good nurse tells me it is not normal. I have pictures to prove what happened to me. My pain and discomfort was ignored by the so called office manager. She wanted to protect her nurses from patients who are abused by them. I was banned for complaining about being hurt by one of their own."
