Testimonials

Adejoke Olaniyi

"Dr Abzurg is a great Dr. Very knowledgeable in what he does. Very compassionate and most importantly makes surgery feel like it's the easiest thing to do. If he takes your case know that you are very safe in his hand. Humble and very friendly. He is indeed a top notch surgeon. I pray God continue to bless the work of his hands and he will continue increase in knowledgeable and wisdom. He operated my son's finger and it regained 80% function within 2 weeks. He is an awesome surgeon."

"Dr. Joshua abzug and their staff is wonderful. From the time he came into the room he made my son feel very comfortable. He was very one on one with him and gave him the care that I feel very happy walking away with. He was very thorough. It's very hard to find a doctor that takes the time for his patients that you can trust especially with our kids and I really feel that he is a great doctor and his staff is excellent!!!"

"One of the techs was removing our daughters cast and cut her with the rotary saw. The tech didn't apologize for cutting her, and both physicians that came into the room after that didn't care. The one stated "it happens", and the other only acknowledged being told about it. On top of this the physicians didn't seem to be communicating with one another. One told us the cast needed to go back on and the other told us, she just needs a boot."

"This review is for an appointment at Dr. Abzug's Texas Station location in Timonium, MD. It was our initial visit for our newborn daughter who has an issue with her hand. Dr. Abzug was recommended by our pediatrician, we got an appointment within 3 days. The front office was a little matter-of-fact, but that is how most of them are. Once inside and in the exam room, all of the assistants, residents, and Dr. Abzug were extremely friendly. He took enough time to assess the issue, explained it very well and came up with a multiple-year game plan to help our little girl. Heck, he gave us his personal email to contact him in case we had questions. Yes, we waited 45 minutes which was fine for me, since the service was excellent."

"My 22 month old son had to visit Dr. Abzug for a fractured wrist. Our initial visit went smoothly but our second visit was to remove his cast. We had to travel 45 minutes because the doctor is only available in certain offices during certain weeks. Fair enough, except that my son's appt. was for 8:45 a.m. and we weren't seen until TWO HOURS later. I understand doctor's are busy, but you should have back up for a wait like that. Needless to say, his services aren't worth waiting for. I would not recommend this office to anyone with children."

"I took my 7 month old son to see Dr. Abzug for an issue concerning improper bone growth in his feet. After waiting for over an hour (which I wasn't angry about as I know doctors often run behind) we were taken to an exam room! A resident came in and asked a few brief questions and quickly looked at my son's feet. A while later dr. Abzug came in. He took a number of phone calls while in the room with us and then without examining my son or asking any questions he told me "he will grow out of it once he wears hard shoes around age 4. come back in six to nine months have a nice day". Even if this is the case (his pediatrician does not think so and believes he may need corrective braces) I felt so rushed out the door. None of my questions were answered and I left just as confused as I came in. I wouldn't recommend dr. Abzug to anyone with children."

Veronica Mui

"Quick, blunt and leaves no room for questions or concerns. Shrugged off my concerns about the treatment plan recommended, which wasn't even his recommendation to begin with but a radiologist's. Brought a previously unknown issue to light but mentioned it as an aside and gave no direction or information about it, leaving me startled, stressed, and confused. Will be seeking out a different doctor."

"Our first two appointments with Dr. Abzug I would say went mostly fine. They were mostly diagnostics. On our third appointment for a follow up it took almost TWO hours to be seen. We did have an appointment. I know doctors are busy but good communication is essential for a good dr/patient relationship. They lacked that. He was very rushed during our visit and left us more confusions than with resolutions."
