Testimonials

Karen Scalise

"Sports Ortho has an exceptional team. Tim, Elizabeth, and Ben are true professionals who work seamlessly together and genuinely care about their patients. This was my first real experience with physical therapy, and it was beyond my wildest expectations. The care was thoughtful, personalized, and incredibly effective. They took the time to explain what we were working on and why, and I saw real results across my knee, back, and neck. I'm grateful for the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sports Ortho to anyone looking for high-quality PT delivered by a knowledgeable, supportive team."

"The staff at Sports and Ortho Lincoln Park are great! I have been going their for a couple months for therapy. They have always been flexible with my schedule. Tim And Ben have worked together to make sure I have the exercises and stretches that work for me. They are also both great in motivating you and also explaining the process for each exercise. Also not a day has gone by when I didn't feel welcomed right when i came in the door by all the staff in the office."

"I went to Sports and Ortho Physical Therapy - Lincoln Park after being diagnosed with sciatica, and I honestly walked in feeling defeated. I was limping, in constant pain, and struggling with everyday things like getting out of bed, sitting, driving, and even working. I felt hopeless. Ben and Elizabeth were incredible from the very beginning. They were focused, patient, and genuinely determined to help me recover and regain my confidence. What I appreciated most was how much they cared about my long term progress. I wanted to avoid surgery or injections and heal naturally, and they fully supported that goal. After three months, which was not an easy process, I can now drive without pain, get out of bed without pain, and enjoy life again. While I am not fully healed yet and still experience muscle tightness and some restricted movement, the exercises they taught me continue to help relieve those symptoms. I wish I could have continued until fully recovered, but I had to stop due to switching jobs and a temporary gap in insurance. Even so, I genuinely recommend this clinic. If you feel discouraged, overwhelmed, or pushed toward medication too quickly, physical therapy works if you commit to it. There is real hope for recovering from sciatica naturally, and I am very grateful to Ben and Elizabeth for helping me get my life back."

"This clinic is a rare gem! Since it's a small clinic, I get a lot of individual attention and the PTs don't seem rushed. Elizabeth is a highly skilled PT who is a creative problem-solver, and my shoulder injury started feeling better after just a couple weeks. Ben is an awesome PT technician who explains the exercises very clearly. Both are always willing to help. Highly recommend this clinic."

"I've been going to Sports Ortho since April after tearing my Achilles, and I can say without exaggeration that this team changed the trajectory of my year. When I first walked in, I was scared I'd be looking at surgery, months of lost mobility, and the possibility that my active lifestyle might never fully return. Instead, I found a group of clinicians who treated me like a whole person -- not just an injury. Appointment by appointment, they rebuilt me. They listened, they adapted when my body needed different things, and they somehow struck the perfect balance between challenging me and protecting me. Their confidence in my recovery became the confidence I didn't yet have in myself. Because of their work, I didn't need surgery. Because of their work, I got my strength back. And because of their work, I completed a triathlon and a HYROX competition -- milestones I never thought would be possible so soon after an Achilles tear. Sports Ortho isn't just a physical therapy clinic; it's a place that gives people their lives back. I'm deeply grateful for every therapist who pushed me, kept me grounded, reassured me, and celebrated every win along the way. They truly put Dan back together again."

"I've worked with five different PTs in Chicago, and Sports & Ortho LP is by far my favorite!! The entire team, Tim, Ben, and Elizabeth, is knowledgeable, innovative, hardworking, and incredibly personable. I've been working with Tim for about two months, and he's made a meaningful impact in reducing my knee pain. It's clear they truly care about their patients and create a comfortable, supportive environment. I would highly recommend!"
