Holly Ruskauff

"First of all, I was referred by my orthopedist. I scheduled the appointment for several weeks out because I work for a public school system and wanted to wait until summer vacation as I've never had cortisone shots and didn't know how I'd react. I was expecting to receive the shots at that time. No, they were referring me elsewhere?! Dr. Willis didn't listen to a word I said. I was given cortisone shots based on his assessment that, while helpful, did not go into the main problem area. I called back the day after his initial assessment to make sure they understood exactly from where my pain was emanating, only to be told that I should discuss it with the doc performing the injections. I spoke to that office several times beforehand and was told the same thing each time: "Go over that with the doc when you get here for the appointment." I did and he told me that there was nothing he could do. He couldn't change the placement based on a discussion with me - THE PATIENT - but had to go by Dr. Willis' orders. The shots helped with the bursitis, but didn't do a thing for the main problem, which is arthritis in my hip, because I didn't get an injection there. INFURIATING. My summer is shot thanks to poor communication and a lack of compassion."

"Do yourself a favor and call someone else. It took them three weeks after my dr sent the referral to even call me back only to tell me they couldn't give me an appointment ( they actually panned off why on someone who's going to call me. I'm not holding my breath) It didn't make any sense. WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD WITH ANY DRS OFFICE EVER. Seriously- CALL ANOTHER CLINIC."

Maria Daniels

"I don't understand why no one answers the phone. Knowing there is a nationwide shortage on meds and that some pharmacies may not have it. Why do I have to call every month for my refill, and don't get a response. Unacceptable!!!!"

Alucard Hope

"I am not a fan of UMMC as a hospital or ER, but the pain clinic within it is pretty great and helped me numerous times."

Jessica Tanglao

"No one called after I was referred here and when I reached out I was hung up on. Ridiculous!"

Jack McNally

"Excellent nurse, professional doctor, work directly to the point, no wasted time. Explanation you can understand."
