Testimonials
"The front desk receptionist Alice was very disrespectful and seemed judgmental during my visit. Her attitude made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. As a patient coming for physical therapy, I expected kindness and professionalism, not eye-rolling or frustration. It's disappointing to be treated this way at a healthcare facility."
"I was there and the wait was over 2 hours with one fatigue, rude Dr. Lopez. He looked overworked and if I was getting the service for free. Thank God for the nurse who was amazing, friendly, sharp and is the only reason why my child received the medication he needed."
"After returning to this Urgent Care and having a completely different experience, I must warn Google users to avoid. During this visit, I waited over an hour to see a MD. The MD was unapologetic about the wait and seemingly annoyed when I pointed out how long I sat out front despite the very few patients ahead of me. She then went on to order a Flu test. Seems simple, right? Well a q-tip swave and $268 later (two $134 tests for influenza A&B), I was sent on my way with a Rx for Zofran (a medicine traditionally prescribed for chemo patient's nausea). The total bill was $464, which included $196 for the privelege of speaking to a doctor for less than 10 minutes. This is irresponsible medicine at its finest. I have BCBS PPO insurance through Chicago Public Schools, so evidently it's ok to charge whatever and run diagnostic tests that are very expensive with total disregard to patient consent or the associated costs. I would have saved money and recieved better care by clogging up an emergency room at Christ. Do not go to this location and if you are reading this in their waiting room, ask for the cost upfront because they will not disclose this information. Even if you have better coverage or have met your max out of pocket expenses, I urge you to reconsider because places like this drive up the cost of Healthcare by taking an irresponsible approach to testing and general care/treatment."
"Currently sitting in the waiting area with other patients who have been here for hours. The service is horrible and I've never experienced this wait time at this location before but this is unacceptable. I've been waiting to see a doctor for nearly 5 hours now. At this rate, the emergency room would have attended me quicker."
"My spouse and I have the same type of insurance, same deductibles, and this place was listed as a preferred site. My spouse went to Advocate Christ for the same medical treatment and he was charged zero dollars. I went to Little Company of Mary and they charged me over 600$. I even called the manager of the billing department twice and she could never be found, left her a message and she never returned my call. Needless to say extremely disappointed and will never come back to this place."
"From the team ladies at registration to the kind doctor who did the sports physical for my son....amazing. They were so kind and fast. This was new for him and they were so kind. The lady at the payment/registration booth took interest in his basketball and shared how she had played when she was younger. I would highly recommend this location. The only thing that was strange was this badge that the hospital group was making them wear it said "OUCH" ....we asked her what that meant and she explained that if someone says something unkind...they are supposed to flip it over and tell them that it "hurt" ....I am sure the management had their hearts in the right place when creating this....but the execution was a big miss. My son thought it meant that there may be a shot...and it would "Hurt"...Your staff was great...just stop making them wear those stupid badges. :)"
"Avoid immediate care if Dr. Lopez is the only physician in either locations in Oak Lawn. How can a doctor with such horrible service still be in practice? You will waste your time and insurance money. He is ignorant and unprofessional. He basically says he can't do anything for you and you need to see a specialist/primary physician. As a women, I was very affended by Dr. Lopez not speaking to me with eye contact and directing all his attention to my male boyfriend who was not the patient. I'm still in shock by his attitude and horrible patient care service. I denied any further examination/X-rays during my visit and left."
"Was there today, because my doctors office was closed. My husband was so sick and Dr Lopez was so rude to him and me, I wanted to cry. The RNs stepped in to help us out and explain what was happening to my husband. I hope I never have to come back. So sad."
