"Saw this doctor 3 years ago for knee injury. He was obviously rushed. Told me because I was a woman not an athlete over 50 post menopausal and overweight he would not be looking for the best outcome. Then shoved a form and a 400$ knee brace at me and told me to sign. He nor his i guess it was an assistant who brought the brace into the exam room. He did not order do an x ray or order an MRI. EVERYONE i spoke with who had ever had this kind of injury could not believe he didn't order an MRI. I had to call and request an order for it. His office was less than pleased at the request. Luckily my boyfriend's father had a knee doc. I took the MRI to his doctor. I had torn ACL torn meniscus. I didnt bother going back to Sumida. The doctor who i went to for 2nd opinion with the MRI did my surgery and at every visit was a consummate professional. My knee is better than it has ever been thanks to him. Sumida was completely dismissive. I had to pay for the knee brace out of pocket. Would never recommend him."
