Testimonials
"It was recommended to me for shoulder treatment. I have not tried it...need more reviews and information from others"
"I called today to schedule an appointment for my high schooler. A few seconds into the recording i was informed that masks were required in the office. I can't give this office my business if they still require masks. All the data and research points to masks being ineffective (cdc) and any healthcare facilitator who doesn't understand this is not one I want treating my family. There is no mask mandate in Darien or Connecticut. That is a thing of the past and it was a bust to begin with."
"Sample size of one, so take my review with a grain of salt. I'm young and very physically active, my injury is related to the shoulder on my dominant side, crippling for any sport I participate in. I've visited them at their offices ~4 times, given multiple injections and a contrast MRI, all over a 3-4 month period. Each visit I was rushed in and and out, no thorough examination. This rushed feeling came from everyone in the office from the front desk people, to the nurse, to the doctor. Really felt more like a fast food customer rather than a patient. I suppose that is the business model for these places after they are consolidated. That being said, I would've given them 5 stars if they had just fixed my issue. I'm going on 1.5 years with debilitating pain in my shoulder and no closer to a solution. My last visit, I was left with "I think we need another opinion, here is my coworker's card. Bye.", to paraphrase, after 5 minutes discussing the prior treatments and a quick shoulder mobility check. There is no exaggeration here, literally left in the room by myself to put my jacket back on (should've left it on) and figure out where I go from there to fix my shoulder. I walked myself out, go to the front desk and asked for my records so that I could take them to a doctor outside of OrthoConnecicut. I was met with the curt interaction I had come to expect and given a form to fill out and price. A lot of places make you pay for your medical records to add to the frustration involved with going to another doctor/practice, so that is expected, but it is comical after I and my insurance provider had just spent another ~$X00 for 5 minutes and no answers/direction. Maybe my injury is atypical and difficult to treat to the point where there are no "good" answers to it. I can believe that, but is it too much to ask for 30 minutes of a professional's time, to have my injury given sincere consideration, and to feel that I'm in good hands? While OrthoConnecticut may make more money by taking the fast food approach, selling their services in scale, that should NOT be the mentality to take when it comes to medicine.. . . . . Those are my two cents, your experience will vary. Would I go there again? Assuredly, no."
