"Our first appointment with Dr. Tubic today, what a breath of fresh air! We visited him at his Bolingbrook facility and the office was very well organized, prompt and efficient. Dr. Tubic spent a half hour with us and understood what we needed. He wants to get the current procedure completed first and wants to schedule for 1/30/2025. Procedure will be at Hinsdale Hospital, which was our preference. We have a Medtronic back stimulator that needs a battery replacement. Mentioned other medical enhancements that may also help our situation, but that discussion will take place after the main issue is addressed. I realize there is more to come and we are hopeful that the steps to come and the surgery is just as pleasing. I will follow up as time goes on, but so far very pleased with this visit. Part 2: Today was surgery day, again couldn't more pleased. At Hinsdale hospital, first of the day. Everything was great, from the checkin process, to everyone involved with our visit. Dr. Tubic again was terrific. Listened to our concerns, explained his thoughts and proceeded! We were done and home before noon. Hubby is doing great! Dr. Tubic, Jon from Medtronics, Dr. George, Trevor, Eliza, and Boyac, and all the others I didn't meet, Post op #1, from Hinsdale hospital were all terrific! Hubby agrees he was treated very well by everyone involved. Great team, and so grateful! Part 3: Two weeks after surgery, all is great! Follow up with Dr. Tubic and surgical sight is healed! Everyone in the Hinsdale office was great! Kind, professional, and knowledgeable! Again, I would like to thank Dr. Tubic and everyone involved in this procedure! Everyone of them were terrific! Part 4. Well I knew there had to be something. Dr. Tubic has offices in Bolingbrook and Hinsdale. Our first visit was to Bolingbrook, everything great, billing and out of pocket costs were as expected, $40.00. We then had the procedure at Hinsdale Hospital. That went well, our out of pocket $350.00. Then it came to follow ups appointments. The first one week later at his Hinsdale office, located in the hospital. We were told that this first visit was follow up surgery and there was no copay. Made sense. Second follow up was same place one week later. Co-pay of $40.00, understood, paid, and talking to his office, our bill is paid and we are in good standing. Now, my insurance company was billed by Advent Health, not Chicagoland Pain Clinic, for the first visit and a co-pay of $40.00. When inquiried, I was told this was a facility fee. Was never told the there was a separate facility fee, for the Hinsdale location. Had I known, I would have gone to Bolingbrook. Now, I am to speak with the biller, but I have no bill, no contact, no nothing. A facility charge, never heard of such a thing, nor was it ever disclosed to us. Absurd! Because of this changing my rating to 1. A little shady billing practice and in my mind fleecing of our Medicare and supplemental insurance coverage. Part 5: Well turned out they were billing under two separate names. All said and done $40.00 co-pay for each visit. The first visit after surgery did have a co-pay, so the person in the office misspoke apparently! Case Closed!"
"Dr. Tubic has kept me pain free for the last 6 years. He is caring, intuitive, and very upbeat. I had a horrible experience at Bolingbrook Hospital. My pain was not being managed well at all. "Fraudulent billing practices. I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Tubic 3/1/24. Two days before the appointment, his office reassigned the appointment to a different doctor in the practice. I paid the office visit copay required by my insurance provider ($20). The front desk gave me a receipt for the copay with an account number and separate address for the Chicagoland Pain Management Bolingbrook office. Two weeks later I received a separate bill from University of Chicago Avent Health for the same Dr's visit 3/1 for $159 as a separate account number with the Hindsdale office address. I only had one office visit 3/1 and it was in Hindsdale. I am getting the run around from the billing party because Chicagoland Pain Management issued 2 bills for the same office visit and listed 1 office visit as a separate coded service for a separate location. If I had a clone or known doppelganger I would make them pay the 2nd bill. Good luck trying to get the front desk at Chicagoland Pain Management to answer the phone."

"I have been with Dr Tubic and his staff for many years now. Dr Tubic had put me on the Intrathecal Pain Pump and after several adjustments the pain pump has been helping me really well. I have been able to enjoy more in life. I am so thankful for Dr Tubic . Now my pain pump is at its end of life stage and needs to be replaced. I have all the confidence in the world for Dr Tubic.
