"I had a consult with Dr. Mesnick a year ago and had a poor experience. He was dismissive of my symptoms which included headaches, very limited rotation and consistent neck pain. He spent less than 30 seconds looking at my xray and proceeded to call me weak repeatedly when doing test exercises. It wasn't until I saw a neurologist a few months later who ordered an MRI that I learned I have moderate to severe facet hypertrophy throughout my cervical spine with neural foraminal stenosis - a condition that directly causes weakness. The exercising he was recommending also would've caused further damage to my spine should I have moved forward with his treatment plan. The way he approached my consult was reckless and it's disappointing that he didn't inquire further/suggest testing based on the issues I was voicing."
