"Since the 1st day till today my mother been treated so well from everyone in Rivaya Care. From the Nurses & CNAs & Doctors & all the staffs. They're treating my mother as a favorite patient & like a family. They're priority is mom's health & care & support. They have been very patient with my mom & they know mom has Dementia stage 7th & lots of health issues. They're performing loving & caring to mom to make her feel safe just like home. Im blessed that my mother in safe place & with people really loves her & care about her. I would recommend this place for Nursing Home & i would like to thank everyone & from the bottom of my heart I wish you guys more success. Big thanks to Josh & Maria & all the stafs there. Im glad that my mother in safe hands there. Thank you all"
"This place is the worst of the worst. Extremely short staff. Not enough nurses or CNAs nurses don't give meds when there due and there in your room. Wound care has gone extremely down hill. They buy the cheapest supplies they can find. They dont disinfect their hands before putting gloves on. Who knows what they were touching on What bacterias and germs are around the building and they just grab gloves and put them on.They never have enough linens. Food is disgusting. Physical rehab never works with the people they really need help. The pharmacy takes days to get the meds here when you run out. The nurses should be reordering meds when you got like three or four pills left since the pharmacy takes forever to get here. The ambulance is here every other day taking people to the hospital. If you really care about your family members DON'T BRING THEM HERE CAUSE THEY WILL NOT GET THE CARE THEY REALLY NEED!!!!!!!!!! And there's no hot water. Need new water boilers. The parking lot has bunch of pot holes not good for people that want to go to the store next door and have trouble getting there in their wheelchairs. And the list gets longer and longer and keeps going. This nursing home is horrible probably get better care on the West or Southside of Chicago in the Ghetto. Which is REALLY SAD oh forgot people getting infections left and right. No one wants to do their jobs. Very few of them are really good. Was much better when it was landmark of Des Plaines and Zahav. All they do is take people's money and pocket it."
"If I could give a zero I would!!! Shame on this place!! Needs to be reported and shut down. There is NO hot running water, so patients do not get to actually bathe. The doctors are not on the same page with each other. Dialysis machines mess up and here.. let me know your opinion"
"Last week, I was sent to IL from WI to look at facilities for my mom. I arrived with my two little kiddos and was immediately greeted by the receptionist with a smile. The staff were all extremely pleasant and the facility was clean and well kept. My story is a little different but so important and shows the character of the staff here. My mom who lives in WI was told by her SW at the hospital that there were no places willing to accept her in WI, we were given two places in IL to tour, this was one of them. I went to look here and thank gosh I did! I met Josh, who was beyond kind and knowledgeable, not only that, he reviewed my mom's records and said he might know of a place closer in WI that could help us. My mom was in the hospital for 4 months and was told IL was her only option and this kind soul, helped us in 1 hour find an amazing place in WI to accept my mom. This demonstrated how much the facility cares and values a human life and truly wants to help people. I will forever be grateful for the knowledge and compassion that was shown to my family in this difficult time, and the willingness of Josh to go above and beyond to help a complete stranger so that her loved one could be closer to her family. 10 out of 10 recommend!"
"Please don't go to this facility at all. It's horrible the facility is nasty. The can's are overworked and still under paid. The patients are not being care for properly. When you are trying to pick up to work for the facility the schedule shay doesn't answered the phone. She is very unprofessional and don't need to be in that position. I will be calling state in this matter"
"Zahav takes excellent care of the residents. The nursing staff are top notch. Physical and occupational therapists increased my stamina and strength to where I now work out daily. I call myself a therapy junkie. The therapists work with the residents on the skills they need. That's what they did for me. In Activities we celebrate all the holidays even the more uncommon ones like Mimosa Day and Ice Cream Sundae Day. Access to the heads of all the departments is available for all residents and that is highly unusual. Having been in several rehab and nursing settings, Zahav is the best."
"I won't say that there are some bad apples that work there because I think at any of these places there are but in my personal experience there were a lot more of the good apples then there were bad. It's a clean facility and a lot of the staff are or try to be attentive to your needs as far as facilities like this goes this one has to be one of the better ones and they are trying to improve so that's saying a lot."
"I am a friend of Jerry on room 125, this is my first time visiting and am impressed with the cleanliness , no smell , that is a big thing. Very friendly environment , from reception , speech therapist, very attentive and impressive with details, he is clean and well taken cared of, he told he loves it here. The Assistant Director was extremely friendly and caring . I highly recommend this place. Very impressive. I have a massive email with my friends and I will recommend this place.
