"I had an appointment with Dr. Osric King at the Hospital for Special Surgery, after completing the entire online pre-check-in process on MyChart and carefully arranging my morning around it. I took three buses to get there -- only to be told at the front desk that they do not accept my coverage. No one from Dr. King's office, including his staff member Vani, bothered to check or inform me ahead of time, even though they had all my insurance information for days. The lack of communication and coordination was astonishing, especially from a medical office connected to a world-class institution like HSS. When I tried to explain what happened, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. There was no apology, no accountability, and absolutely no compassion for the time, effort, and energy wasted. If you value your time, your patience, and clear communication, think twice before scheduling here. A simple phone call could have prevented this entire ordeal."

"One of the best orthopedist's I have ever been to. He takes his time with every patient. My appointment was the most thorough examination I have ever had. He also explains everything and answers all questions in a very down to Earth way. Amazing bedside manner. If that isn't enough, he has also worked on college basketball and NBA team benches. Lastly his affiliation is with Hospital for Special Surgery which is constantly ranked as the best hospital in the nation for Orthopedics. If you need an orthopedist go see him. You will not be disappointed."

"I was referred to him from my doctor who replaced my knees. I have neck and shoulder pain coupled with arthritis. I have never left a negative review for a doctor in the past, but the level of disappointment I felt after leaving his office a few words needed to be shared. He needs to come down from his high horse and Listen to his patients concerns. He was smug and condescending. When a doctor asks you to diagnose your condition by feeling your shoulder on each side and asks you what you feel, what the h... is that?? He cut me off when I attempted to explain my condition and how I felt. Arthritis moves so my condition varies. He implied I couldn't explain what my problem is. Although, I had pt for my shoulder in the past, apparently my condition has changed. He made me feel like I didn't address my shoulder issue because of the pain that's in my neck. I understand that it's all connected. If you don't have the patience to address your patients concerns, perhaps you need a refresher course on manners. It was the worst visit Everrr!!"
