Dr. Frank Bayerbach

"I am a physician. My father was under the care of this podiatrist for a non healing foot ulcer. I requested to speak with this podiatrist via phone, with my father in the room, to help bridge a language barrier and to advocate on behalf of my father who is not medically literate. Initially he flat our refused stating "if she wants to talk to me tell her to come to my office" which is inappropriate to begin with. Eventually, he agreed to speak to me via phone. I want to emphasize that I have never met this podiatrist and it was my first interaction with him. During this phone interaction Dr. Bayerbach almost immediately became condescending, combative and passive aggressive. This was unprovoked. I am in shock at how unprofessional he was toward myself, my mother, and my father (his patient). He stated that speaking to me about my fathers medical care (who again, was in the room, and requested that I be involved) was "illegal" and accused me of trying to "set him up". Based on this alarming interaction I would never recommend this person for podiatric care to anyone. After leaving the office, my father transferred his podiatric care to a different podiatrist that same day."
