Testimonials
"as new client we had a great experience. we were welcomed by the nice lady at the reception that have guide us through filling up the forms and getting the insurance details. we have waited less than 10 min in the nice waiting room and was professionally treated by the nurse and doctor. My sister was enjoying herself somewhere else and wasn't with me"
"Do not recommend. Misdiagnosed. Not thorough or careful. Never actually saw the doctor (Dr. Lager) despite making multiple requests when booking appts and insisting to be seen by the Dr., not the PA, after many months of physical therapy and MANY rounds of imaging. They are not thorough. They do not have imaging at their office so I had to go THREE different times to get MRIs & xrays even though I requested a more thorough imaging order so that I could just do it once. It cost $100 in copay per imaging visit and hours of my time. And STILL after pleading with them to add a hip MRI/x ray to my imaging order they insisted it would be visible enough in the image of the femur. Alas it was not. I was misdiagnosed with IT band syndrome and prescribed 12 weeks of physical therapy (with no particular physical therapy place or person recommended, just sent me off to find any random one) and that did nothing but irritate it because it was the wrong diagnosis. They ended up saying they did not know what to do for me and referred me to a pain management doctor who prescribed me gabapentin, meloxicam, prednisone, and lidocaine (I took none of them). I ended up finding a better orthopedist who had more thorough imaging done and quickly diagnosed a labral tear and hip dysplasia and I ended up needing surgery. This doctor was also was able to recommend a specific PT place and specific therapist. All in all, Gotham City Orthopedics cost me months of my time, hundreds of dollars, and lots of unnecessary pain with the misdiagnosis and the lack of care with which they treated my case. The front desk staff was always nice and were easily the best part of the place. Stay away."
"this place is not good - do not go here unless it is extremely convenient for you. front desk people are not nice but the worst part is that they do not have X-ray capabilities so you have to go somewhere else to get your X-ray then come here for results. Find an orthopedist that can do X-rays. plus they cancel appointments and don't tell you - I only found out because I happened to call with a question. also -not open Friday = annoying."
