"Dr. B seems nice at first, but his arrogance quickly overshadows that. I had a cyst pinching a nerve so badly that my arm would go numb whenever I used it. I visited him five times and had the cyst drained twice, only for it to return worse each time. When I asked for a doctor's note stating that I was having difficulty driving, he refused--saying he wouldn't be able to explain it to a board, which is nonsense considering this is a condition that requires surgery to correct. I've been doing physical therapy for three months with no improvement, and he knows that. He then added that he wouldn't write the note because of the scrutiny Columbia is currently under. Despite knowing I was in pain and had limited range of motion, he still denied the request. That's when his unprofessionalism really showed. He even said, "I wouldn't write a note for my own dad--what makes you think I'd do it for you?" To make matters worse, I explained everything to the PA, who began writing the letter for me--until Dr. B stepped in and stopped him. It was incredibly unprofessional and arrogant. All he seems to care about is the money--not the patient, not their pain, just the cash and keeping Columbia off his back. This interaction felt very personal and political. I will not be returning to this office. I recommend you find a doctor that actually puts your health first."

"Beware- my son had a lacrosse injury as a junior in high school and had shoulder surgery with Dr Ahmad who was awesome! Their billing dept is a different story. They are unprofessional and unwilling to help in any way. Between my health insurance and school insurance payments they sent me to collections for the balance of the surgery."

The knowledge, expertise and bed-side manner was beyond anything I have ever experienced. Dr. Goldwasser listenend to my concerns and knew just how to treat my pain. I was very nervous getting a gel shot in my knee, but he made it so painless and relieved so much of my anxiety. I have finally found a doctor who is caring, understanding, and empathetic to my pain.
