Dr. Nicholas Ungaro

"I am now rating this excellent, science-based chiropractor who treated me 10 years ago, because it is important to distinguish between practitioners who pretend that chiropractic can cure anything, like magic, and the HONEST ones, like Dr. Ungaro, who cared for me in 2012. When he reviewed my X-rays, he told me the truth: my advanced osteoarthritis meant that I would eventually need a new right hip and two new knees. He treated me with some chiropractic adjustments that pulled my arthritic joints slightly open, relieving my pain to some extent, and the physical therapist in his practice gave me some good exercises to strengthen the muscles around my bad joints. (I felt much better after those treatments for a while, but ultimately I had a right hip replacement. I now need both knees replaced, and am looking forward to getting insurance coverage for those procedures.) Dr. Ungaro is an excellent, ethical, honest and caring practitioner who (unlike some others) does NOT LIE about what chiropractic care can and cannot do. I highly recommend him and his practice.
