Testimonials
"Great experience. Vicky greeted me and my friend with great warmth and Eva's massage was very relaxing and therapeutic. Acupuncture has always been good too."
"I had been coming here for almost a year, and I truly loved this place. I've received over 10 acupuncture sessions, and an herbal consultation. The herbal consultation was great, and my acupuncture sessions have generally been very positive as well. However today, I had a very concerning experience that left me in tears, and now I am currently in physical pain. At about 15-20 minutes into the acupuncture appointment, I called out for help because I woke up feeling extremely uncomfortable. No one came. For context, each massage table is separated by curtains in a large room, so everyone can hear everything. I called out again. No one came. I called out a third time, no one came. I laid there face down, with several needles in me, completely unable to move, with no one to help me- no one even checked in on me. I realized how problematic this is, as each time I've been there in the past, no one would check in on me after putting the needles in.. Unfortunately today, I needed someone to check on me. When the timer went off, a person who was not my acupuncturist came into take all the needles out. I told her that I was in pain and that I had called out for help 3 times, but she just told me that they were "very busy today and couldn't hear." Then she told me, "All done, I took all the needles out." Fortunately, I got up very slowly- to discover that she had left a needle in my leg. I am honestly disturbed and very disappointed after today. I really, really loved coming here. But now my back and my neck hurt much more than when I arrived. I have a much more limited range of motion in my neck now."
"Hey everyone! I just wanted to share something really useful -- I found an amazing place in Chinatown that offers physical therapy and massage, and they accept full insurance (you just need a referral from your main doctor). They also provide acupuncture, cupping, heat therapy, and electric stimulation, all in the same location and often during the same visit. I thought it was worth sharing because sports massages are usually expensive, or most places only focus on the back or neck -- but here, they even worked on my Achilles, which was a game changer! No appointment needed -- just walk in before 5 PM. They're open every day except Wednesday, including Sundays."
