Testimonials

D. E.G.

"My doctor referred me to Sports & Orthopaedic Therapy Services for knee pain that I'd been dealing with before and throughout the pandemic. Debbie worked with me and got me back in shape. Over the years, I've gone to a few different physical therapists, and she has to be the best. Debbie was very professional, personable, and caring. AND, she was so knowledgeable and experienced. The other thing I noticed about Debbie was how she worked so well with all of her patients and tailored her approach to their specific needs. I've gone to some therapists that use a cookie cutter approach for their patients and never put a hand on their patients. That's not Debbie. She ensures that she's going to give each of her patients that best services she can. Debbie - Thank you for taking care of me! Dorothy Gardner"

"I saw Deborah for a back and shoulder/neck injury. She was just amazing. I joked with her many times that she had magic. I was only half kidding. I had had physical therapy in the past a number of times, but Deborah explained to me some things that I hadn't understood from other physical therapists. She also did some very helpful PT techniques no one else had tried and this helped me a lot. Deborah is also very kind, and works hard to understand and address whatever is bothering someone. She was flexible in working with me on some issues of scheduling and paperwork. She really deserves a 5 star plus rating!"

"I can only say positive things about this place. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Monique Beeko is the best! I came in with a difficult rehabilitation and she knew all about the specific surgery I had and was ready with a therapy plan that worked perfectly for me. She was very kind and helpful. With her guidance, I was able to regain my strength and range of movement more quickly than I thought I would."

"Monique Beeko brought me optimal recovery from a challenging knee replacement surgery with first-rate therapy. The amount of time she spent with me, the hands on therapy she provided with skilled hands and the exercises she guided me through all helped me recover and get back to hiking. Connecting to the whole person, Monique is able to converse personally and sensitively. She always confers, prescribes, and instructs diplomatically while also responding with genuine caring and a lovely sense of humor that put me at ease. She could sense when it was time to stay the course and when it was time to add exercises or encourage pushing more in doing some exercises. I would go back to Monique in a heartbeat. In fact, I plan to do that for my second knee replacement surgery next year and also for a yearly "movement assessment physical." Beyond Monique, the rest of the staff at S&O were welcoming, warm, and professional. I should mention that this treatment is not my first time at this practice. Over the last ten years or so, I had therapy for a strained hip and strengthening exercises to help with knee and hip pain. I have had an excellent experience each time with other therapists at this practice; I wouldn't go anywhere else for physical therapy."

"When my orthopedist recommended physical therapy for my shoulder, I was skeptical that it would improve. I was sure that I needed surgical intervention. I've been working with Debbie and after only a few visits, the pain has lessened and my mobility has significantly improved. I continue to notice improvement after each session. I am so grateful to Debbie for her care and expertise."

"Excellent care for my shoulder injury. Monique Beeko PT is very professional and knowledgeable. Her rehabilitation techniques are very effective, and she has a wonderful sense of humor. The staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend Monique and the facility to anyone in need of quality care and service."

"Last April I badly sprained my ankle and the Orthopedic doctor recommended therapy twice a week. I had never been to PT before and didn't know what to expect. I googled physical therapy near me and found several places not too far from my home, including Sports and Orthopedic Therapy Services. Based on so many positive reviews I chose Sports and Orthopedic Therapy Services and began physical therapy to heal my ankle. When I began PT I was wearing a hard boot up to my knee which the doctor prescribed. Prior to my injury I was walking 3 miles a day. The first day I said to Debbie, my Physical Therapist, that I felt like I would be in the uncomfortable boot for a while and Debbie said, maybe not. I felt an improvement after the first session with Debbie that I never expected. My recovery seemed to progress exponentially with each session. By the end of the first 2 weeks of therapy I was back to walking 3 miles a day, which I never expected. Debbie's care, nurture, and expertise helped me to get back on my feet again. Kathy O"

"In the past 20 years I've undergone physical therapy multiple times from injuries to knee, ankle, shoulder, neck, and spine. I saw Monique Beeko for the two most recent of those rehabs. The results under her guidance are far superior to other PT experiences I've had. After total knee replacement, Monique, and as well Mr. Ho, added 70 degrees range of motion to the knee in less than four weeks. This led to crucial cancellation of an imminent second operation to remove scar tissue. In the first two weeks they encouraged and marshaled the enormous confidence and motivation required to get off the walker and cane. Without their advanced therapies, patience, and encyclopedic knowledge I would have ended up back in an OR, or worse. I will be grateful to Monique and Mr. Ho for the rest of my life. Thank you SPORTS."
