Testimonials
"I went to Michael Ariete (Medstar Physical Therapy) for post neck surgery. I found him to have excellent bedside manners and was equally excellent in giving me exercises to improve my walking, neck and shoulder. I agree with him that the whole body should be worked on for recovery. He is very knowledgeable about his profession."
"Michael and Wumni was great working with me. They worked on my balance and vertigo. I'm so thankful because I came along way. Know I feel much better with walking. They were very friendly and respectful and also knowledgeable in what they're doing. Today I completed physical therapy for my shoulder. My therapist were very friendly respectful and knowledgeable of what they were doing. My therapist names are Teri and Lauren very wonderful and hard working ladies. Thanks and I appreciate your support in taking care of my shoulder."
"My husband is a great and strong man; however, this knee replacement surgery was difficult until he came here for physical therapy with Michael! MedStar's physical therapists and the other assistants helped him get back to his life. Now, he took me out and what a wonderful time together we had! So, not only did this therapy help my husband but it is great for me, also! After this major change came a shining light and it is due to the care he received here! Micheal is that charm that you come across only once in a lifetime. Well, we are pleased! Charles and Elizabeth Hawkins November, 2025"

"Unfortunately I have been to physical therapy more than once. MedStar physical therapy at Good Samaritan is one of the best. The kindness of everyone one is the part of therapy that gives you the confidence to help yourself get better. The therapist Mike is absolutely amazing. He has a great sense of where your body condition lies with normal anatomy. He meets your needs and advances as you get better. I had a lot of pain walking, sitting and standing. In time I was able to do those activities again without pain ."
"My experience with Good Sam's PT department was excellent. All of the Physical Therapy staff were helpfull friendly, caring, and accommodating. My team leader, Michael, was outstanding. In addition to his support staff, and a front desk clerk, Erin, deserve recognition for professionalism and assistance in helping with my difficult scheduling. The level of caring by my PT techs was noteworthy."

"I had my kidney transplant surgery in late 2024. I had stayed in the hospital for 2 months for recovery. I had my Home PT as phase 1, and outpatient PT at MSGH as phase 2. I came home from the hospital with a wheel chair. I started my phase 1 PT at home for about 6 months. I transitionned to a walker. I started my phase 2 therapy at the Outpatient Physical Therapy Department at MSGH in June this year. I went to the hospital with a walker. Terry was the lead therapist supported by anther therapist Woomie. Terry and her assistant were excellent. They helped me to bring back my on active muscles and improve my balance. After 30 visits in 6 months, I improved significantly. I was transitionned to a cane.i successfully completed the phase 2, and was transferred to the phase 3 at the outpatient gym. I am starting my phase 3 exercise late November with a cane. This phase may be performed independently with the help with a therapist. My goals are: 1. Improve my muscles and balance, 2. Walk without a cane, and 3. Start driving again. Overall, the MedStar Physical Therapy at MSGH is excellent. Therapists like Terry, and Woomie are excellent professionals. The office staff are also very good. I recommend the patients needing physical therapy to the MSGH."
