"I was referred by my coworker. Yoko is amazing. With her education and training in traditional Chinese medicine in China, she's very knowledgeable unlike other acupuncturists who might only go to the acupuncture school in America. Yoko can prescribe herbal medicine that comes in pill form and mail to you which is very convenient. I went for allergies, and sleep issues although this is obviously not a one-time fix, my sinuses and congestion immediately cleared as soon as the needles went in. My symptoms were drastically better especially within first 24-48 hours after each treatment. I always feel so much better and well-rested after each appointment. "I had three acupuncture visits with Dr. Kuo for neck pain. Before my first treatment, I double checked with Dr. Kuo on the insurance coverage. However, I later found out that I was billed for additional services that I never received. To make things worse, I was even billed for a visit that I canceled in advance (the cancellation was also confirmed by Dr Kuo directly). These errors, caused by a clear lack of review, created a major headache on my end - I had to call my insurance multiple times and go through the process of disputing each claim individually. What's most frustrating is that all of this could've been easily avoided with a simple check before submitting the claims. Unless you're paying entirely out of pocket, I recommend looking elsewhere if you don't want to deal with this kind of trouble."
