Athletico Physical Therapy - Lincolnwood

"What a wonderful home away from home I found in the Athletico establishment in Lincolnwood. From the initial contact with the capable receptionist Afeefah (sic), I was made to feel comfortable with my choice of centers. And, yes, I was lucky. I had the fortune of encountering a premier PT team dedicated to the rehabilitation of their charges. The team consisted of lead PT therapist Alain A., followed by the able bodied team of Patrick B, Raquel S., and back ups Khadijah (sic) and Khalil (sic). Alain A. is an extraordinary lead PT therapist who was able to ascertain immediately the right amount of physical therapy to insure maximum recovery. He and his team of cohorts worked in tandem, like well oiled machines, to put me through paces designed to rehabilitate me into a physically functional human being again. I had had total right knee replacement so was very skeptical about complete functionality of my range of motion. But, Alain's expertise far exceeded my mere physicality. I truly felt like a new man after each session with him and, often times, trade offs with his fellow team mates. In addition, the members displayed an innate ability to understand intuitively the emotional and psychological needs of their clients--a key component in getting back to near wholeness. I wholeheartedly encourage you to check out this facility and family of team members whose primary goal is to treat their clients with dignity and respect. The patient coordinator, Afeefah, is terrific to handle insurance and scheduling; she welcomes everyone with a warm smile. The rest of the staff is terrific. "This is an awesome team! This was first ever PT experience of any kind and I didn't know what to expect - quite honestly I was nervous and scared of the possibility of finding out that something could require PT. My entire mentality and perception was flipped after this session; Martina, Han and Rachel are some of the most talented and welcoming professionals I have ever met, they quickly put my fears aside and gave me insight to why I was hurting. They had a plethora of motivational quotes on a mirror in the main room, what that stuck with myself and echos throughout my exercises now is "pain makes you grow."
