"Dr. Dawn is truly amazing. This was my first experience with Acupuncture or Functional Medicine of any kind and I was initially very hesitant, even despite all of her positive reviews. I ended up opting for 10 session packages at a time, and I am currently on my fourth set in less than a year. Everything has been well worth it! After the first appointment, my chronic muscle and joint discomfort improved significantly, I finally felt peace in my body for the first time in decades. Dr. Dawn is truly passionate about what she does, which makes all the difference. She has a long term plan and idea of what larger systems to work on shifting, but is also incredibly responsive to what current complaints I've come in with, be it digestion, rough periods of anxiety or depression, physical aches and pains, fatigue, etc, and she will tend to both at once. One day I came in complaining of dry mouth, she put a needle somewhere in my foot and instantly I felt saliva bubble up under my tongue, it was so impressive! Any of the products or supplements she has recommended have been effective, and I've never felt "sold to" or pushed in any direction whatsoever. In fact, when she has had extra time she has added extra components to our session, just because they would be helpful, or sent me home with certain products to try free of charge. She has called several times in between sessions to check on how I'm feeling, and the support staff is all incredibly warm and kind. Everyone remembers you and I feel like I am treated like a human and not a patient. I feel very well taken care of, listened to, and respected in every part of my care there and have encouraged several friends or family to see her for their health needs. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Dawn or Metta Perspectives as a whole. I just wish I knew the amazing benefits and care I would receive here back when I was skeptical and spent months wondering if this was a good idea. I am so deeply grateful to have these wonderful people to help support me through my healing journey!"
