"From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was receiving a call regarding checking in for a 3pm appointment at 215pm. From the get go, the ladies were rude, rolling eyes, and talking about things they shouldn't have been. Patient care and compassion was missing from this whole atmosphere. The provider was sitting with the front desk staff rolling her eyes, and showing an attitude I have never seen. Working in healthcare, you don't know what patients are going through and should atleast be friendly or smile. They continued to be abrupt and rude because the referral did not have their name listed, which I found very strange. The appointment has been scheduled for weeks and when making the appointment, it was informed a name does not need to be listed to be seen. PPO plans usually can be seen anywhere, but this office had their own agenda. My advice to this office, show your patients care and have respect along with decency. As a healthcare worker, I felt very disrespected and disappointed in the service you have shown!!! Do better!!!!"

"I was erroneously charged $700 for a 3rd party asking 5 questions in between co-pay and seeing the doctor and they pretend it's part of a necessary process, and insurance mandates it to receive meds, it's not - it's a racket. They're refusing me service if I don't pay something I was never advised was not covered by insurance and unnecessary to obtain my meds, despite them mandating these verbal tests, acting as though I can't be seen if I don't take the '5 question test' "draw a clock", "remember this name", etc. DECLINE THIS TEST UNLESS YOU ENJOY SHREDDING $700!! I will be filing a complaint with the States Attorney's office first thing Monday if this is not resolved ASAP."

"Reading through the previous reviews this seems to be a recurring issue here just skip this place the reception area is very disorganized with files and papers everywere staff on there phones not careing .Was told I need to be there 15 minutes before over the phone 3 times and was texted my apointment time 3 times than the day of they call me 2 hours before and tell me i need to be there an hour before my appointment. I tried my best to be there when they wanted on the way there they called and they cancelled on me when i was 5 min away and the front desk lady said all of management was in a meeting and I could wait for an hr for them to finish I said this is unacceptable so she started yelling at me. I was offered a new appointment but was sure that I would not receive the same care as every other patient based on the unprofessional behaviors of the staff i had seen. I had to leave and will have to wait another month to be seen."

"1 Star -- Denied Care Despite Arriving Before My Confirmed Appointment Time Save your time, money, effort, and energy. Go somewhere else. I had a confirmed physical therapy appointment at Greater Maryland Pain Management's Odenton location for 11:15 a.m. I received two text confirmations with that exact time. No one told me to arrive early, no forms were sent in advance, and I received no phone call explaining any special requirements. I arrived at 11:10 a.m., well within the normal 15-minute grace period used in most medical settings. As soon as I walked in, the front-desk staff said, "Unfortunately, you have to reschedule." No check-in attempt, no explanation, nothing. I was later told they expected patients to arrive 45 minutes early, an expectation they never communicated in any way. Because of this internal miscommunication, I was denied needed care after a recent accident and now must restart the process with a new provider. This experience showed poor communication, no accountability, and no regard for patients trying to get treatment. I hope the practice reviews its scheduling and intake procedures so others don't go through the same thing."

"I am writing this review to warn potential patients about the systemic failure and absolute chaos at this pain management practice. While the goal here is supposed to be relief, the stress of dealing with their administrative incompetence causes more pain than it solves. The most glaring issue is their blatant disregard for scheduling. This practice drastically overbooks their appointments to a degree I have never witnessed before. Unless you are lucky enough to be the very first patient on the schedule for the day, you should expect to be here for half the day, if not the entire day. The doctors seem to completely lack time management skills, and the administration fails to cap the patient list to a manageable number. It is not an exaggeration to say that I have sat in the waiting area for 4 to 6 hours past my scheduled appointment time before being seen. It is clear they do not prioritize the patient experience; instead, they cram as many people as possible into a schedule that their limited number of available doctors simply cannot accommodate. The disorganization reaches dangerous levels regarding resources. On more than one occasion, I have endured a massive wait only to be told they have literally run out of anesthesia or necessary supplies. This results in procedures being cancelled on the spot and appointments getting pushed to a completely different day, wasting hours of my time with zero apology. What is most insulting is the failure to realize that patients have lives outside of this clinic. We have obligations, families, and jobs. Their inability to ever be on time has caused legitimate issues with my employment because I can never give my employer an accurate time of return. There is no recourse for the patient; if we are late, we are penalized, but when they are six hours late, we are expected to stay silent and grateful. I would strongly advise avoiding this place if you value your time. If you are looking for a medical practice that operates professionally and actually cares about honoring their appointment times, look elsewhere. This place is not it."

"The doctors are the best, especially "Doctor Ezzi." The PAs are fine, very professional. The negative experiences come from office procedures, communications, getting an appointment when you need it, and the front desk staff that work in this situation. As you have to deal with the staff to get to see the providers, the overall experience can go negative pretty fast."

Joseph Jones

"The staff is very professional. I like my provider (Donna Sarara) experience and knowledge in dealing with my pain management. I would definitely recommend Greater Maryland Pain Management to others seeking relief from chronic pain. Without my pain medications, and some additional treatment, I would have delayed my overseas travel."
