Testimonials
"They DO NOT take any insurance. Know what you are getting into before visiting them. Meaning they will be out of network. I got their information from my insurance website mentioning they are in network, called them to confirm (and they did say they accept my insurance) despite all this, only when you come to check-in they will present you with a form that asks you to sign for "Surprise Billing" form. This means they are able to charge you whatever, and you would receive a bill and insurance might not cover it. Gave a 1 star because none of this is communicated during any of the phone calls before despite asking. I had to walk out, otherwise the practice looked well maintained and clean."
"As a medical consultant, I hold a high standard for patient care and often use my own experiences to evaluate whether a provider meets that standard. Unfortunately, my experience with the Hoboken office fell significantly below expectations. I presented with a knee effusion that should have been straightforward to drain. The office required imaging first, which I understood, but it took over a month before I received my MRI results. When the aspiration was finally attempted, it was performed by the PA, who was noticeably short and dismissive. Despite my background and clear understanding of physiology, I was spoken to in a condescending manner and not treated with basic professional respect. When I asked clarifying questions, I was told it "might be a hematoma," despite the fact that nothing appeared on MRI--an explanation that was neither clinically sound nor reassuring. I expressed my intention to seek a second opinion. One week after the aspiration failed, I received a call to schedule surgery with Dr. Ashraf. This would have been my 35th surgery, so I am far from inexperienced as a patient. However, the communication, lack of clinical reasoning, and overall quality of care were among the lowest I've encountered in two decades in the field. I would not recommend this practice. Patients deserve competent, respectful, and evidence-based care--this experience did not meet that standard."
"I had an amazing experience at Hudson Pro. The doctor had great bedside manner and actually took the time to explain everything very clearly instead of just giving me medical jargon like other places I've been to. I felt super comfortable with everyone and very well cared for throughout my visit, even the front desk girls were super inviting and nice. I'm super happy I chose to come here and will continue to and will def recommend to all my friends and family!"
