"Dr. Tatka was excellent. As a new patient, I had a great experience from start to finish. The building itself has a large, hospital-style lobby, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but the lobby check-in staff were helpful, kind, and very efficient. They handled insurance and directed me clearly, which made the process smooth and easy. I arrived right at my appointment time and was called back within minutes. Once I was brought into Dr. Tatka's office area, everything moved very quickly. I was taken straight back rather than sitting in another waiting area. The physician assistant was friendly, funny, and extremely thorough. He took the time to ask detailed questions about my background and the reason for my visit, which I really appreciated as a new patient. X-rays were done on site and just a few rooms down the hall, making the process incredibly convenient. Having imaging located within the office area eliminated unnecessary steps and delays. Dr. Tatka came in shortly after and was warm, kind, and attentive. He has excellent bedside manner and took the time to walk me through my X-rays in a clear, easy-to-understand way. Although I came in for a knee issue, he thoughtfully explained how my knees, hips, pelvis, and lower back all work together. He clearly discussed his assessment and treatment plan, made sure I was comfortable with it, and answered my questions thoroughly. I especially appreciated that he explained why surgery was not recommended at this time and discussed preventative options instead. He was thoughtful, honest, and not at all pushy. The visit was efficient without ever feeling rushed. I left feeling informed, confident, and comfortable with the plan of care. Finding a specialist who takes a conservative, patient-focused approach can be difficult, and Dr. Tatka was truly a breath of fresh air. Checkout was just as smooth as the rest of the visit. The staff in his office area were kind, professional, and quick. My appointment started around 11:15, I was seen within minutes, and I was finished in under 30 minutes total. Overall, this was a very positive experience, and I'm comfortable with my choice. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tatka."
