"Dr. Chen worked out an amazing cervical fusion surgery for me, which greatly changed my life. More than 6 weeks before the procedure, I can't lay down for sleep more than one hour every night due to the unbearable pain caused by the cervical disc herniation. When Dr. Chen proposed the surgery of cervical fusion, I accepted immediately because I understood that it concerns the quality of my life, and I clearly remembered how much my mother suffered lasting 12 years until she finally took a spine fusion surgery. Another amazing thing is , I did not feel any pain before, during and after the procedure, the only memory of pain is two needle punctures for the IV drip before procedure. "Dr. Chen is an exceptional surgeon and human being whose skill, responsiveness, and care exceeded every expectation I am writing this review two weeks post-op from my minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (L5-S1), and I cannot say enough about what an exceptional doctor Dr. Chen is. My surgery had originally been scheduled for late February, but my sciatica pain became so severe that what I thought would be a quick emergency room visit turned into a hospital admission. My pain was unmanageable despite treatment, and the ER team ultimately determined that I would need surgery before I could be discharged. Despite it being a holiday weekend and having an already full schedule, Dr. Chen responded immediately. He worked closely with the hospital to expedite my surgery and had it completed within 48 hours. That level of responsiveness and dedication alone was extraordinary.
