" Thoughtful, thorough care from Dr. Onyike, Gisselle and Annikki from Avante Orthopaedics during my ongoing work-related injury. I am currently under the care of Dr. Aham Onyike at Avante Orthopaedics for a work-related back injury, and I felt it was important for me to share my experience thus far, while my treatment is still ongoing. From my very first visit, I could tell that Dr. Onyike takes his role seriously and approaches care with a level of thoughtfulness and professionalism that is really hard to find, now days. In every single visit Dr. Onyike has always taken his time with me to listen to me, reviewing my imaging in detail, and performing a very thorough physical examination. I have never felt rushed, dismissed, or treated like just another case. He always makes sure that my symptoms, limitations, and work duties are all considered together and not in isolation. What stands out to me most is that Dr. Onyike does not rush conclusions. He has been careful, methodical, and evidence-based in how he manages my condition. He always explains what's going on in such a way I could understand, and follows up with me by asking me questions to ensure I'm understanding what he is telling me. I have to say that he has made it very clear to me, that recovery will take time with the proper treatment, specifically given the physical nature of my job. Dr. Onyike focus with me, has always been on doing what is medically appropriate, not what is convenient. I am still actively undergoing treatment, do to my extreme back pain and sciatic injury cause at my job and taking my continued therapy and follow-up care, and I must say that throughout this stressful and very painful process, Dr. Onyike has remained consistent, attentive, and engaged in my progress. That consistency has mattered to me, especially while dealing with this life work injury change of continued pain, work limitations, family event limitations, not being able to continue helping my mother who also needs all the help and support, alongside with the uncertainty that this work-related injury has cause me and completely change my life and not knowing how long will I have to endure. Having Dr. Onyike has been truly been a blessing. I also want to recognize his staff, particularly Gisselle and Annikki. They have been professional, patient, and supportive every step of the way. From scheduling to paperwork and follow-up questions, they always treat me with respect and they always help make a stressful situation more manageable, for me. Their professionalism reflects the overall standard of care in the office. Based on my experience so far, I believe Dr. Onyike is a Doctor who practices with integrity, experience, and an authentic and very genuine concern for all his patients. I am so grateful to be under his care during this ongoing recovery and would recommend him to anyone looking for an orthopedic specialist who takes the time to do things the right way. Thank you Dr. Onyike, Gisselle and Annikki for everything you do. I feel honored to be care by such authentic people that really care about their well being of their patients and not making me feel like just another case or a number."

After assessing my son's symptoms he reassured us that we could wait until the office opened in the morning and avoid a long visit to the ER. He made time between surgeries to see us the next day and offered answers when we needed them. He methodically assessed my son's condition and ordered an mri to confirm his diagnosis.
