Testimonials
"Susan Peters is a phenomenal Women's Health Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. I was impressed with her ability to adjust her communication to match my knowledge level. I was also very pleased with the program she developed for me as it was tailored perfectly to fit my goals and my level of fitness. She is kind, comfortable, professional, and it is clear she has 40 years of experience. I "graduated" today but I would definitely come back to work with Sue. The one-on-one sessions are also imperative to the experience. Highly recommend."
"I highly recommend B-Health!! I've been seeing Dr. Kane the last few years for help with pain related to my scoliosis. It's the first time PT has felt specifically tailored to my needs and grounded in true expertise of scoliosis. I feel so much more confident in my body's abilities and am so appreciative of the great care I receive. Sam is also wonderful and helps navigate insurance and scheduling and all the things with ease. Grateful for the team at B-Health!"
"Exceptional care and expertise delivered in a highly personal, 1:1 setting. Dr. Green and the entire staff were tremendous throughout my months-long shoulder rehabilitation. I hope I never need PT again, but if I do this will be my first call. The practice would benefit from a migration to Epic / MyChart for easier interface with other providers, but that is a small note."
"I started going to B-Health to treat a back injury after a fall. My PT, Cameron was exceptional in treating my pain and helping to strengthing my back and core. The front desk was very helpful in scheduling appointments around my busy work schedule. I am grateful to have expert health care providers in the neighborhood!"
"Kane has helped me post recovery from hip surgery. He has followed closely to the protocols set by my surgeon, but also adds his own experience and knowledge to my recovery journey. His treatments include needling, cupping, muscle manipulation and muscle activation. I truly believe my recovery has sped up due to his intense recovery treatments. He is extremely knowledgable about what needs to be done so that I can return to my athletic lifestyle. I would recommend Fuller Health Group to anyone! ...In fact, I think Sam, the manager, is as informed of my condition and recovery journey as much as Kane is! The entire staff is always very professional and and courteous. And the office space is pleasing and clean."
"I started going to PT at the Fuller Health Group with Kane from an old injury that has been causing residual pain/weakness in my legs. In the 6 months that I have attended 1 session/week, I have noticed significant changes in regards to my education about my anatomy, self-awareness of my body mechanics, movement-based pain management strategies, and daily corrective stretches to improve my strength and muscle engagement for daily mobility. What I have enjoyed most about my PT sessions is that they are tailored each week based on how I am feeling that day - whether it is a new or old issue it is always addressed. And, they are all individual. All movements are function based for my daily walking and exercise routine including emphasis on walking mechanics, outdoor running, and high intensity interval training to focus on my personal mobility goals. Fuller Health Group has been easy to book and keep up with, with weekly reminders for when a session is coming up. They have private treatment spaces and a new gym that is great!"
"I've been seeing Dr. Kane Thompson at Fuller Health for about a month now. I've struggled with chronic back pain for years, but a few months ago it started to become unbearable. Just sitting in the car was excruciating, so I knew I had to do something different about it this time. I had gone to chiropractors and tried acupuncture in the past, but was looking for treatment with longer lasting effects so I turned to Kane for PT services. I've honestly never felt more heard by a medical professional than I have with Kane. He took his time understanding my symptoms and every session has given me a detailed, yet easy to understand, explanation of what he sees is going on with my lower back, what he's doing and why, and what I should be doing to help decrease my pain and get my functioning back to optimal levels. It is clear that he is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to his work and helping people feel and move better. Treatments feel incredibly personalized and not like he is just going through his routine. My back is feeling much better and I know it will just continue to improve with my time with Kane. His varied approach with me has included dry needling, manual manipulation, and various exercises. He has even helped me with my neck pain on days when that has flared up. I HIGHLY recommend Kane to anyone with back or neck pain!!!!"
"After a concussion I was referred to Fuller Health Group by a former physical therapist who (sadly!) no longer practices in Oak Park. I'm very glad my former PT Mason directed me to Fuller Health Group-- from practice management to quality of care my experience has been top-notch. The office is clean and professional (with excellent alt-rock music that takes me back to my college years), scheduling has been easy, and everyone I've encountered instills a feeling of credibility and trust. I work with Dr. Kane Thompson. Kane is kind and knowledgeable and his posture is so good it inspires me want to fix my own. Kane listens to my symptoms and concerns and customizes sessions accordingly. He uses a holistic approach to PT, considering how the body is interconnected, and a variety of techniques (including functional dry needling) to target specific nerves, muscles, fascia, and joints. I appreciate that Fuller Health Group isn't a "big box" PT shop; when I'm in my sessions Kane is focusing on me and not on 2-3 other patients simultaneously. He doesn't give me a set of exercises and then walk away. The sessions can be intense-- working deeply into a joint or nerve is not pleasant-- but they are incredibly helpful afterwards. I certainly recommend Fuller Health Group to anyone in Oak Park and the surrounding areas in need of physical therapy. This is a convenient, comfortable space with top-flight care. Thank you Kane and Sam!"
