"I met with Dr. Neubauer for a second opinion regarding my knee. I agree with the other two reviewers. He had a nice smile, but couldn't have made it more obvious that all I was to him was "next in line." He told me I needed a knee replacement. When I asked him how that was done he told me I'd get a booklet that would explain it. EXCUSE ME? I'll get the knee replacement, but with another doctor. If a doctor can't see me as a human being then he has no care about my outcome."

"My experience with this doctor was not good by any standard. In the fall of 2022 I had my first appointment with him after suffering with a painful right knee for months. I was met by a tech who took X-rays. In the exam room Dr. Neubauer spent about three minutes with me stating that my knee was arthritic. He never showed the X-rays to me and had no other conversation with me about a prognosis and options. He left the room and his technician gave me a cortisone injection . After several more visits, I received three gel injections. Dr N never checked in on me during these visits to inquire about my progress. The few interactions with him were superficial and lacked any productive doctor/patient relationship building. I found his bedside manner to be cold and aloof. Needless to say I lost all confidence in him. Subsequently, I sought treatment at MedStar orthopedics in Timonium. I found a caring and supportive physician who ultimately completed a total knee replacement with great results."

"Mercy Medical/Hospital and Dr. Neubauer were great! November 25, 2019 I had my left hip replaced. I recommend to anyone thinking that this is something that may need to be done, DO IT. Dr. Neubauer is a wonderful, skilled surgeon who has a personality. I've dealt with doctors over the years who were just completely mean and dismissive, not this guy! He told me my options and gave me good information to make the decision to have anterior hip replacement. I feel great, pain is gone 6 weeks out. Back to work and happy to get my life back! "Dr Neubauer is the best joint replacement surgeon in my opinion. He replaced both of my hips one in 2015 and the other in 2016. He just replaced my right knee yesterday and I am going home the next day which is today. He is so great."

"I has been putting this hip surgery off for months until I couldn't go on so I finally went back to Dr. Neubauer and said lets do this he smile and said ok. "BEST ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON EVER!! Great Sense of Humor and awesome Bed Side Manner. He didn't hold anything back either. He said the pain would be excruciating and he was right!! But, if I follow his Instuctions and do my Physical Therapy, I will be on the road to a full recovery! I have known him for over 8 Years, and I WOULD NEVER consider going to anyone else. Plus, I LOVE bantering/joking with him back and forth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Neubauer and if I could, would give him 50 Stars!! Looking forward to my Post OP Appointment!!"
