"Going for gel shots for my knees that I had to fight the insurance on for months. First time I was supposed to get my gel shots, the doctor claimed to not be in so I had to get my appointment moved. Now this morning AFTER I get my first gel shot, even though the shots are to be given ONE WEEK APART, they cancel AGAIN citing an "emergency" despite it being a few days away. Not to mention the fact that I'm an emergency myself as I'm at the point I can't even walk so the shots are overdue. So now, they got me booked TWO WEEKS OUT between shots when it's supposed to be only ONE, and the secretary or whoever it is is trying to lie to me and claim it's fine just so she can avoid admitting that the office is incompetent. Then my shot after THAT is a week and a HALF apart. Tell me, is it only an "emergency" and okay to cancel when the patient has Medicaid because that's what it seems like. Then the best part. I love how whenever I call this place, I always get an answering machine yet whenever I'm there in person NO ONE IS ON THE PHONE AT ALL. They're just sitting there getting paid to do nothing. I already told them, if my knees don't respond to this treatment because they are KNOWINGLY going against the manufacturer to hide their incompetence, I WILL be filing a lawsuit against them and Atlantic Health for hiring them on staff. I've had it up to here with all this. I did NOT fight for this with the insurance and go through everything I did to be able to get to this point only for them to not do their jobs and make me suffer even more."
