"I had to give 5 stars just to bring this sad average up. I have had PT at a lot of places due to several injuries in my life. I would have to say the care I received is solid. Sessions are short at 30 minutes (other places I have been have been 30-60), but I really have liked all the providers and staff I have seen. They are in network on my insurance, and the evaluation session was covered completely and my copay has been reasonable even on a not great insurance plan"

"First, my primary care didn't take a back injury seriously in my annual exam and just told me to rest for 2 months when I know I needed PT. The pain got worse and I had to go to urgent care instead of travel up north in pain because of my primary's negligence. I then was told NWM would take my insurance for PT appointments, and still ended up owing $600 for three visits. I have friends who are PTs elsewhere who said the itemized charges were high. I only received 45-minutes of an evaluation visit where we barely did anything, 3-4 movements I think, and in one of my subsequent appointments the PT was on a zoom class the entire time for her MBA. For what I owe I should be given full attention, it's ridiculous. The billing customer service reps let my messages time out, without giving me the information I requested, and when they did get back to me no detailed information was provided about why the charges were so high. Will never use Northwestern Medicine again - stay away!"

"Price gouging $650 for a 20 minute physio appointment for my shoulder -The privilege of the appointment was $250 - $100 for each of the three weight lifting exercises they showed me -a final $100 for the app that shows the three exercises There was no mention of these exorbitant costs ahead of time, I got the bill in the NM app one month later. I've never encountered pricing like this before."
