"I got to this office an hour and 15 minutes before my appointment time due to being a new patient. I filled out the stack of repetitive paperwork that asked the same information three times. I was then informed that they didn't have the correct referral sent from my doctor. So I called my doctor and had it sent over. My appointment was at 2 o'clock. I was getting x-rays by 2:20. And wasn't called to the back until 435. 10 minutes later, the doctor came in. It was determined that I was going to get a Cortisone shot. He left out the room and told the nurse so that she could get it prepared and he proceeded to go into another room to give another patient a shot. When he came out of that room, he went into another room. He's laughing and joking and playing around, Which is fine, but apparently you are way behind schedule. At this point, I'm pissed.I've been there since 12:45, I'm starving, and it's after 5pm. Finally, the patient leaves out, and he is now transcribing the visit with his door open, and I am hearing everything. I am in the medical field, so that is definitely a HIPAA violation. That is one of the first things that you are taught. While waiting, I received a call from my sister and as I'm telling her where I am and how long I've been there, he comes into the room and add himself to the conversation making irrelevant excuses for why I was there for so long. "Patients don't usually come in for more than one body part" That definitely doesn't explain why I'm in this office for almost five hours and I had an appointment. At this point, I'm trying to understand why is he being argumentative and going back-and-forth with a patient? I told him that I wasn't even talking to him. He had more excuses. He then started with small talk as he's preparing to give me this shot. But the small talk turned into him being caddy. My daughter was with me and she usually tells me mom please don't argue. But his behavior had her asking him was he married? He asked her why? But she ignored him. When we got to the car, I asked her why she asked him that? And she said because she wondered if he talked to his wife that way. The only pleasant encounters that I had in this office was with the x-ray technician and the lady who came in with my paperwork and my new appointment. And I will not be coming back to see him ever!"
