Testimonials

Chris Miller

"Dr. Cherrick was amazing. I had seen several doctors about pain in my shoulder (workers comp) but he was able to properly diagnose the problem and treat it. He's got great bedside manners and is very personable."

Raymond MacDonald

"After extensive testing, biopsies, and multiple incorrect diagnoses--often at great financial and personal cost--Dr. Ambraham Cherrick has been the only physician who has truly helped me. He has been the sole source of professionalism, clarity, and sanity throughout an otherwise distressing medical journey."

Susan Samuels

"Nurse Arrabelle Diego in Dr Cherrick's office is outstanding, sweet, smart, resourceful, compassionate, doesnt waste time. We are grateful to have her help."

"I just moved to Alexandria from the Bay Area San Francisco. I was really worried and stressed out about seeing a new pain doctor and a new spine center after many many years of being treated on the West Coast. The office was easy to find and I didn't wait long to see Dr Cherrick. He was fantastic and helped me calm down and relax. Like many pain doctors he is super busy juggling many balls in the air but he is a master of handling a million things at once. He was clear and concise about my role as a patient which I really appreciated. I felt I understood everything. I can't tell you how relieved I was to know I would be in the hands of a well known doctor who understood me. Tomorrow is my second appointment. Im looking forward to seeing Dr Cherrick again."

"I can't express how happy I've been with the Alexandria office. I originally saw Dr. Cherrick many years ago for chronic lower back pain. He listened and got me on a pain management program. But the Physician's Assistants are the ones I particularly want to thank. I've suspected that I had fibromyalgia for years and been ignored and pushed off by numerous doctors to the point that I stopped trying to get help until it got to be too much again. I got up the nerve to mention it to Nadia at my pain management appointment recently and she listened! She started me on the right medication and the difference it has made is amazing. I'm not 100% but my quality of life is much improved and at my latest appointment the PA I met with was also wonderful. (I apologize - I forgot her name). I never write reviews, but felt that I needed to share how good my experience was with them. Yes, sometimes you have a long wait for appointments and in the waiting room, but I take that as they are taking the needed time with other patients like me and trying to help them too, so I find it worth it."

"This doctor is awesome: High energy personable care; very intelligent; extremely funny; when the office visit is over you'll feel you've got a powerful ally in your corner. I ran into a woman there I've known at my office for almost ten years...she said I've picked a very good place and added that she'd experienced pain for most of her life and now it's almost completely gone. I really loved his PA as well; her name is Sarah, and she has a talent in listening to you well, and determining where you hurt and what makes it happen. You almost feel like she feels your pain with you. She is very good at conveying this information to Dr. Cherrick. She finds out what and where, he knows why and how to fix it. They are a good team."

" I HAD been coming to Dr. Cherrick for over a year. He prescribed me Relistor to take once a day but he said it was supposed to be written 3X a day which is why it was not working. He rushes with everything he does! Not paying attention to detail. I am really appalled, hurt, and disappointed because, as I was sitting in the patient room I opened the door to see what was taking him so long and I overheard him talking about me to another colleague!! He called me a "Crazy Lady" and spoke of how he was dreading to come back in the room. So, once he came back, I confronted him about it, I proceeded to tell him my ears do not lie and be sure to close his door before talking about his patients! I walked out and told him I do not want to be seen by him or anyone in this practice. I can trust him with my health when he laughs about his patients right in the other room!!!! He does not care about his clients he just wants to hold you in a room for an hour to be able to bill your insurance. I am awaiting my refund from the billing department. Thank you, Hailey for helping me! I am waiting my refund of my $25.00 Co-Pay as we did not conclude our appointment. I wonder what the bill will include since I walked out??"
