Testimonials
"I have been to Dr. Gowda's office located in Greenbelt Maryland twice, and the staff are very warm and welcoming. They are all very helpful with providing the care and information I needed during my visits. The doctor is also very attentive and understanding. I love that the service is quick and that Im not waiting forever to be seen."
"The staff is always friendly and efficient. The entire team at the office displayed a high level of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout my multiple visit. Dr. Gowda was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to explain my surgery procedure and address all my questions and concerns. I'm still in the healing process after my surgery but with continued therapy I expect a full recovery. Thank you Dr. Gowda. Maurice D."
"This is a terrible excuse of a doctor. Don't ever go to him. Gowda did my ACL surgery. I had a complete tear in my ACL. When I went to him first, he told me it doesn't look like anything happened even though I told him I'm in a lot of pain. After the MRI was done, he told me that I had to get my surgery done right away, or I would never be able to do my surgery again. Because of that, I couldn't get a second opinion from someone else because that would take at least 2 to 3 months more. So he did my surgery. I have never done is surgery before, so I don't know the protocol, and before the surgery, he just told me that I just need to show up. At the location and not eat anything. And after the surgery, he wasn't even there to greet me back, he just left. There was no instruction on how to do my rehabilitation. He told me that I need to go to the physical therapist after 2 weeks and when I did go. According to what he said after two months, it looked like my, I couldn't bend my leg past sixty degrees. I went back to him and told him all about it. And he told me to just keep working out, and then I went to a different doctor that doctor told me, dad, I had scar tissues formed inside my knee, because I didn't get my physical therapy done in a timely manner. The office visits I had with Gowda, he would barely spend thirty seconds with me. He wouldn't even let me finish a sentence and just complete my sentence himself and start walking away. One of these visits after my surgery, when I was in a lot of pain and I couldn't get up on the bed and I told him he came to see me for a couple seconds and then he left. My wife went after him and asked him a question, and he shrugged her off. This is a horrible doctor please avoid."
"Dr. Gowda was great, made sure I had necessary evaluations and scans to get surgery scheduled and physical therapy started as soon as possible. Surgery was successful and I was walking 3 days afterwards with minimal pain."
"Dr. Gowda is an amazing orthopedist who prioritizes patient care. He was very helpful throughout my recovery process. I highly recommend him to those in need of an orthopedist that will prioritize.their health needs."
"I was injured in a car accident and sustained injuries to my shoulder labrum which required surgery. Dr. Gowda provided excellent service. He evaluated my injury and progress with care. The procedure went great and I am recovering well, He listens and explains the treatment/care to ensure the patient understands. The office staff is professional and friendly I highly recommend his services"
"Terrible doctor and service as well, I go to get a second opinion from his for my lower spine because of an car accident. Instead of going through the doctor reports from the ER which state I have a herniation in my spine, but instead of going through the reports the doctor completely ignored it and just poke on me, then left me to go to attend patient. Even worse, when I began talking to him it's like he doesn't care what I'm saying but when it comes to a female he goes all smiley and talkative as of a sudden. In addition, that he placed an order for an MRI which I thought was for my lower back but I was told by the MRI tech that it was for my head which wasn't issue at all. Terrible communication, terrible attitude , terrible staff, and terrible doctor 100 percent. Never coming here ever again, I should sue the doctor for his malpractice."
"I would give a Zero if i could. My issue is not with the Doctor, it is with the staff. After I was seen the Doctor ordered a knee injection and told me I should hear from his office in a week to ten days after they received the insurance approval. I never heard, so I called and they said the insurance carrier was not getting back to them and someone would call me. This goes on for several weeks, I call, they say its not approved and they will call back. Unfortunately for me, they never did. I finally called the insurance company myself and they told me it doesn't need approval. Then the doctors staff says its a problem with getting the injection released from the pharmacy. Fast forward two and half months later and I was still getting the same runaround. I had to leave and find another doctor."
