Dr. Dominick A. Lanzo, MD - Orthopaedic Surgery at GBMC

"Dr Lanzo is Extremely GOMS-Grumpy Old Man Syndrome. I visited for both my knees starting to feel pain and stiffness. MRIs show mild-moderate degeneration under the knee cap and was fluid on both knees. He drained left knee which brought relief, and gave me 2 Rx. I picked up the Rx Saturday evening and realized I maybe shouldn't take them together so I call after hours 7pm. Lanzo returned the call and wasn't happy, he said: " You had to call about that on a Saturday evening?" I LOL, but he didn't. Then my right knee that also had fluid really got very stiff so I made an appointment to get it drained. He walked in and said "what are you doing back here?" I told him right knee had gotten worse and needs to be drained. He looked at the MRI and the fluid sack was full, but has a pin hole so leaking the fluid. I still felt it was worth draining anyway to relive the discomfort faster, but he didn't agree which made no sense, just because of a pinhole leak doesn't mean you can't drain the fluid whuch would stop the leaking into the knee structure. All that said, I don't recommend Dr Lanzo. I now go to the best in tye nation HSS Hospital for Special Surgery NYC from Maryland. Dr Lanzo, you need to retire! Go play golf @ Mar-a-Lago"
