"I was referred to Dr. Hammouri's office three months ago and was given the runaround before being dropped altogether. First, he was reluctant to take my case. Then he claims he didn't have enough information on my case--even though the information is stored in the NYU system (he's an NYU doctor), so he cancelled the first appointment a day before the actual date, because he said I needed a 40-minute appointment instead of a 20-minute one. Then, his assistant, Kimberley Dubois, tried to dismiss me and push the responsibility for retrieving the notes on my case on me, so I pushed back and sent them to access the records on their own. That was two weeks ago. Then today, less than three hours before my second rescheduled appointment, his office cancels AGAIN, saying the doctor doesn't handle cases like mine--via email. Why it took them three months to figure all of this out is a mystery to me that feels a lot like discrimination. Definitely would not recommend."
