"My biggest life regret has been going to April Miller. Her business, Evergreen Park Spine Injury Center, is aptly named as she injured my spine during my first adjustment appointment. I went to see her in February 2024 for middle back/thoracic pain. She chose to make an adjustment to my lower back where I historically never experienced pain. She dropped the lower portion of the table that I was laying on and the impact after dropping caused immediate intense low back pain and tingling in both of my legs and feet. She initially seemed dismissive or annoyed at my pain response, saying, "Well, that shouldn't have happened. You must be a delicate flower." In the days that followed, she called and texted with icing and stretching recommendations but her tone indicated that she knew she injured me and seemed more concerned about the potential for being sued than my wellbeing. She blamed her table and stated that it required maintenance. I did seek legal counsel and if the legal costs were remotely affordable and/or the system wasn't built in a way to protect the defendant, I would absolutely sue. The positive reviews are deceiving. She barrages her patients with texts and emails asking for positive reviews. It's a gross business model. It's been almost two years and I have chronic low back pain and tingling that persists into both legs and feet. Do NOT go to April Miller. I should have listened to my instincts when she talked about how many car accidents she has been in. She is clearly negligent in many areas of her life."
