"I highly recommend The Institute for Comprehensive Spine Care. Dr. Okubadejo and his team gave me my life back. After consulting Dr. Okubadejo for a 2nd opinion, evaluation and diagnostic, he had reviewed my MRI and the MRI report and found a discrepancy in the report that didn't match the actual MRI that he reviewed. Dr. Okubadejo requested a follow up X-Ray to confirm that there wasn't any misalignment or instability in my spine. This was confirmed and a minimally invasive Laminectomy was immediately scheduled. I found my new Doctor. The previous Spinal Surgeon was 2 days away from scheduling a Spinal Fusion with plates, screws and rods that I did not need. I went to see the previous Dr. (unnamed) and wanted to review the MRI, the MRI report and the new X-rays that I had. When he learned I had a 2nd opinion and scheduled the surgery with Dr. Okubadejo the office visit was over. The difference between the 3 other doctors that I had seen in the past 9 months was night and day. No other Doctor had the professionalism, staff and talent that Dr Okubadejo has shown to me. In the past 9 months, I have tried Chiropractic care, Acupuncture treatments, (2) epidurals, (2) rounds of Physical Therapy, Tens Unit, Massage, Theragun, Voltaren, Mineral Ice. and Ice treatments. My pain progressed until walking and standing were not bearable anymore, pain was no longer my friend. I was not accepting the fact that I needed to have Hardware installed in my Back. I researched all back procedures, Doctors, and read reviews all over the country, which led me to Dr. Obukadejo. I was curious why disc replacement was not offered to me by my previous Doctor's and I grateful for time Dr. Obukadejo spent reviewing my condition. The surgery was a success; I was able to walk the day after surgery without any Sciatica pain and went home that night. After the 1st week, I was walking 1K steps per day, no pain. After 2 weeks I returned to Dr. Okubadejo to have the bandage removed, I walked in and walked out without any Sciatica pain. After 3 weeks, I was walking 3-5K steps per day without any Sciatica pain. Bending and twisting was still restricted. After 4 weeks, I increased my walks to 2X per day, 3-5K steps while walking the dog. I started a light Leg workout routine using only body weight and PT exercises that I learned. Upper body exercising is on hold for another 2 weeks. I am on the road for a full recovery and will continue to follow Dr Okubadejo's orders and am looking forward to returning to Madison Spine and Physical Therapy for my Rehab. "Recently it was necessary to get lsurgery ti correct lumbar stenosis. Through my pain doctor I was able to learn of Doctor Okubadejo. Fortunately he was able to give me an examination and perform the surgery. While I was expecting positive results, I was excited that I'm able to walk and stand with no pain. I would recommend Dr. O if you're in a car accident or old. I must admit a good part of the process involve the staff. They are phenomenal including the initial staff we met Kossi, Kayla, Precious, Brenda, Dawn, and Jamilah."
