Testimonials
"Emily Grimm is one of the most gifted physical therapists I've ever worked with! Not only is she gentle and caring but her skills and knowledge base are exemplary. She uses many manual techniques combined with teaching about the symptoms and body along with home exercises. This is a very empowering approach. She has unusual knowledge about intestinal PT and this has changed my daily life. I have struggled with an intestinal disease for 40 years but after working with her , most of my symptoms have gone away or have improved significantly. I feel fortunate to have worked with her and I would recommend her highly. Rush is lucky to have such a talented healer."
"What a great therapist and operation. Emily Grimm is a thoughtful and excellent physical therapist and in addition to running a great facility, she spends nearly all of an hour appointment with me, and probes beyond just treating the symptoms. I had a day-of scheduling problem where they juggled me in at a different time with no difficulty. Really happy going to Rush PT Evanston for my treatment."
"Emily Grimm is an amazing physical therapist at Rush PT. She has worked with my oldest daughter for 6 months after a volleyball injury and is now working with my youngest daughter after ankle surgery. She is relatable to kids, puts them at ease, is super easy to talk to (I think my oldest wanted to keep going even after she knew all the exercises because she loved Emily!!), and very good at what she does. The location is super convenient to the Davis train stations and it's easy to street park on the block. We feel super lucky to have been referred to her from our primary care doc!"
"Revathi Ravindran is my PT for both frozen shoulder and tendinitis in my achilles and she is amazing. She is knowledgeable, a great educator and compassionate. My healing is slow but she is so good at encouraging me."
"While my dad was getting his knee treated (which only took a couple of sessions and afterwards he said the treated knee felt better than the other knee lol), I learned that Emily the owner also specializes in pelvic health. I did pelvic floor PT after giving birth and experienced how big a difference that made, so with some new issues that's bothering me for a while I decided to give it another try. It was the best thing I did for myself this year. Emily fixed the muscles that are not in good shape, helped me get into good stretching routines and suggested how to modify my home office set up to avoid the problem in the future (we thought the cause was bad sitting posture from working from home....). All that's to say with 2 months of work I'm in a good shape in a sustainable way and that makes me so happy. Emily has such a calm and warm manner, I always found my visits relaxing and recharging. Aaron at the front desk is very friendly and easy to work with. They also only have 3 therapists that don't work at the same time, so the facility was never so busy as some other PT facilities I've been to. Maybe the only thing to note is their hours vary from day to day (very friendly to working ppl). So if nobody answers the phone, maybe try a different time. Pelvic floor issues are so easily overlooked yet they impact the body so much. Everyone deserves a good pelvic floor therapist! Original review: We've seen both Terry and Emily for my dad's knee pain and they're both great! They are very knowledgable and helpful. The facility is clean. Scheduling is easy. Highly recommend!"
"Revathi is an excellent therapist! She takes the time to listen and is very clear with her instructions. She appears to have enthusiasm for her work, and is engaged with her clients"
"This is a new facility in Evanston and deserves all the glow and sparkle of each of the five stars. The facility is always spotless. All employees are friendly, responsible, and welcoming. Each therapist always works on the patient's individual needs and progress amending individual needs at each visit. If you need physical therapy, this is where you want to go."
"Emily Grimm@rush physical therapy was an absolute lifesaver for ending a process of years of suffering and she fixed it fixed it in just 6 weeks or taught me how to fix it. Through an amazing process of joint exercise and private exercise I enjoy the process and the professionalism of Emily Grimm."
